Priorities
When your schedule begins to schedule out God that's a problem! Now that I have gotten heavily into this walk with God I don't understand when I see people putting things of this world before the things of God! What baffles me even further is when I see so called Christians exhibiting this behavior! It shows me though where their head is really at when it comes to God Almighty! I mean I just look at it this way, if Jesus took the time to come out of Heaven, die for your sins, set you free from condemnation, give you the keys of life and give you back authority in the Earth, then why in the world can't you take time out of your everyday life for Him? What is more important than God? What is more important than feeling His presence? What is more important than hearing His word? What is more important than getting your spirit fed? What is more important than feeling His love surrounding you? What is more important than prayer, sitting down and having a one on one conversation with God? Maybe its just me but I can't think of one single solitary thing that would be more important than any of the previous things mentioned. But to some I guess, work, family, friends and other things are more important. And I'm not saying that none of that isn't important because indeed it is but God is far more important and you are to put Him first! For the most part those in the world and even those in the Body of Christ have their priorities "jacked up" for a lack of better words. Forgive me for being so frank but when I think about my Jesus there is nothing that comes to mind that is more important than Him! Your job can't get you to Heaven! Your family can't get you to Heaven! Your friends can't get you to Heaven! Because when you stand before the maker of Heaven and Earth and everything in it and He ask you where were you? Why didn't He ever hear from you? Why didn't He ever see you or feel your love? Why didn't He ever hear your voice praising Him and worshiping Him with the multitude? What will you say? I'm sorry, I was with my friends? I was with my family? I was at work? I was always busy? Do those even sound like plausible answers? Does that sound like something God would accept? When God called you into His Kingdom, He asked for all of you! You can't give Him a little bit of you and then expect to have a lot of Him! It doesn't work like that! He wants all or nothing at all! So wherever you are, no matter what you are doing be sure you make time for God! Sacrifice some things for Him, He sacrificed everything for you at the highest cost, His Son! Get your priorities in check and stop playing with God!
