God Will Protect You

Fear and faith cannot dwell within the same heart. One will overpower the other and one will hinder the other from fully developing. God calls His children to be bold; Proverbs 28:1"The wicked flee though no one pursues but the righteous are as bold as a lion." We are the children of the Great I am, there is nothing too big for Him and with His Spirit dwelling on the inside of us we can overcome anything. So in whatever situation you face, rely on the mighty hand of God and do not be afraid, God will protect you.

Fear is a hindrance to many; some people don't achieve their goals or fulfill their purpose in life due to the presence of fear in their lives. But why fear when God is on His Throne? Why fear when our Father is the Creator of heaven and earth. God does not want you going through life unable to receive His divine peace because of fear. Fear is a weapon used by the enemy; it is used to make you afraid when there really isn't any need to be. If the devil can strike fear in your heart and keep you from taking a step of faith, then He has you right where he wants you.

When we come to God we are to be delivered from everything that was holding us in bondage, so that leads one to ask the question of why are their still so many believers who live in fear? It's a really good question. But it's also easy to answer. If there are still things in your life that are holding you captive, it's remaining because you haven't let it go. God will allow what you allow and if fear is still showing it's ugly face in your life, then let it go. Pray to God, speak to Him and let Him know that you no longer want to be bound by fear;  and let the Lord increase your faith more and more.

God will protect you all your days even in the midst of trouble, trials and tribulations. Let go of fear, don't let the enemy continue to keep you bound. Stand up today and shake off those chains and be free in Jesus name. You are the child of a mighty God and there is nothing that you should fear except Him.Go forward in the peace of God, freely living without any hindrances and be who it is that He put you in the earth to be; the King has got you covered!

Dedicate Yourself To Christ

Let's face it, humans are selfish, narcissistic people and if it's not about us or effecting us personally then we usually don't care. We're selfish with our friendship, our love and our time. We live in a world that constantly tells us that it's all about us, so it only makes sense that a generation such as this one has become one of the most vain. We have forgotten that it's more to life than vanity. We chase after labels and brands, trying to keep up with the Jones', painting a picture that won't last through the ages. Although we all want to have fun and enjoy this one life that we get to live, we need to center ourselves and look at the bigger picture; it's not all about us, at the end of the day, Jesus is the center and life is not a game. Pursue your dreams, be successful, fight to reach your goals, but never forget that to truly lead a successful life, you must dedicate yourself to Christ. After all, He is the author and giver of life.

Christ does not desire to take your life from you. He is not a slave master; He is our Lord and Savior who also calls us friend. John 15:15 "I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you." Most people think that when they come to Christ that they have to give up all their dreams, goals and aspirations and that's not the case. When you come to Christ, He will take your life and mold it into something you've never dreamed of, your dreams and goals will be amplified and your life will bring you peace and Him glory. God desires for you to prosper in every way and once you take a step toward the King, dedicating yourself to Him, everything you touch will prosper and your life will be a reflection of the love of Christ. Psalm 1:3 "He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers."

When I first gave my life to Christ, I thought that I had to give up everything I was doing, but I loved Him so much so I didn't care. So I decided to give up a couple of the things that I was pursuing, which had been goals and dreams of mine since I was a very young child. It felt great at first, I thought I was doing the right thing but after while of being stagnant depression sank in and I felt as though I was going nowhere in life and accomplishing nothing. I cried out to God over and over again, asking Him what it was that He desired for me to do, sometimes I didn't get an answer and sometimes I was told to just be patient. I was confused, asking myself questions like, why would God allow me to give up everything to just do nothing? Why isn't God using me now that I have given up everything to follow Him? Then my eyes were opened; the Lord sat me down and opened my eyes, letting me know that what I was doing before was what He intended for me to do and that it was I who acted to quickly without seeking Him first which resulted in a life full of stagnancy. After I received that word from the Father I began to seek Him more, taking steps and acting on my faith instead of just sitting. God not only restored me to my original position but with it came so much more than I ever expected and I am still surprised by the blessings He keeps pouring into my life.

I am now back on the path of pursuing my dreams and Christ is at the center of everything that I do; at the end of the day I ask that He let His will be done and not mine. So don't think that if you dedicate yourself to Christ that He's going to give you some dreadful life that is lack luster and full of pitfalls. We are the children of an extraordinary God, we are the friends and faithful followers of a risen and reigning King and our lives are a reflection of that. So don't be afraid, take that step of faith and dedicate yourself to Christ, you have nothing to lose and all to gain.

God Always Has A Remnant

Have you ever felt like you were all alone on your walk with God?
Have you ever felt like you were the only one who believed in standing firm on the promises of God?
Have you ever felt like it was pretty much you against the world?

Many saints today in the Body of Christ can identify with the questions above. We all too often feel deserted, abandoned, lonely, without a friend or a confidant. In this day and age finding a TRUE believer to connect with seems to be almost to challenging of a task to take on, so we walk and work in the harvest field alone. But even in these wicked times when it seems as though everyone has abandoned the faith God has His remnant.

In the Old Testament, when all seemed to abandon the faith and the impending punishment from God was near, there was always a person or a group left standing in the midst of wickedness, a remnant. God doesn't need everybody, He just needs somebody. Everyone is not going to leave the broad path and come to the narrow one but there are many of us out here today who are brave enough and bold enough to still live by the commandments of God. Many say the Church is dead, but I say we are here and we aren't going anywhere; we will still be standing in the power of God until the return of Christ.

So don't be afraid in your walk with God, you are not as alone as you think you are; there are many of us here in the Body of Christ. Therefore we must pray for one another; when speaking with God in your times of prayer, pray to God for the remnant group of believers in this generation and time.

2 Kings 19:4 "Therefore pray for the remnant that still survives."

Though none else go we still must walk this path righteousness, contending and fighting the good fight of the faith. Stay strong and encourage yourself in the Lord. God is with you and you are apart of His remnant army that is marching forward in the light and power of the truth.

Short Thought: Choose Life, Not Death

Choosing life and not death is an everyday decision, not just a one time proclamation. Most think that this means accepting Christ as personal Lord and Savior, which is apart of it but not the only aspect; we must choose life and not death in every situation we face in life. God holds an account of our every action in Heaven, so in all things we must make the right decision. When a problem of great difficulty sets itself before you and concerning this matter you must make a very important decision be sure to always choose wisely, be discerning and make sure that your final decision does not negatively affect you or anyone connected to you. God calls His children to be wise in all matters, having great wisdom and knowledge to make it through and over  life's pitfalls, temptations, challenges and hurdles. Death doesn't always necessarily mean that you are going to die in the physical, that's how the serpent deceived Eve in the garden; death can also mean spiritually as well, friendships, relationships, employment, etc. Every decision you make, every action you take has some type of consequence, rather it be positive or negative, so be sure that your final move always results in life and not death.

Encourage One Another

Believers should be in one accord in all things. There are certain situations that can only be handled when believers come together as one. We should always be there for one another in the Body of Christ; coming together as brothers and sisters in the faith. No one can handle life all on their own, especially the spiritual walk with God. The path of righteousness is not easy, but the load lightens when we all unite as one. As we are told to encourage ourselves in the Lord, we should always encourage one another as well.

Today there is great division among us in the Body of Christ. Division between Churches, division among the different religious sects (Baptist, Catholics, Methodist, etc.) and just pure division between people of the faith in general, which should not be. As Paul said, "Is Christ divided?" (1 Corinthians 1:13). No, He is not. Therefore we should not be divided. God calls us to come together as one in all that we do as the Body of Christ is one. People wonder why the Body of Christ is so ineffective in certain aspects today and why it seems as though people of the faith are not as effective at tearing down the strong holds that God gave us the power to do; it's because we are divided. If a body is divided then how can it function properly.

Question? If the arm is dislocated from the Body, it will still work but the work will be a lot harder; a day to day mundane task will seem a lot more difficult than it usually is. Another question? What if the body was just a foot? Then we can only walk (which would still be a daunting task), but we won't be able to see, hear or speak. Making us quite ineffective. Therefore we need to be together in one accord, encouraging one another in the faith; being an effective unit an effective body of believers.

We also tear each other down quite a bit. If one does something wrong or makes a mistake, we shun them, turn our backs and put are noses up in the air as if the person is a fowl stench to us and also as if we don't make mistakes ourselves. No one is perfect, not even the saints, we fall down, but we also get back up. But everyone is not that strong in the faith. There are some among us who aren't that strong in their walk with God and need the encouragement of others to make it and keep going forward on the path of righteousness with the King. As believers, who are we if we don't encourage the weak? Who are we if we don't pick someone up when they fall? Who are we if we don't love one another as Christ commanded us to do? Then we are just like the pagans. So when you see a fellow brother or sister down or in need lift them up, encourage them, walk with them and keep them going until they regain the faith and strength to walk on their own again.

Speaking of loving one another and encouraging one another in the faith, we also need to do the same with the lost. We get so used to only loving and helping the saints and not the lost. The saints have a hope, the lost don't, we have to encourage them as well and all the more as that is our purpose in the earth; drawing others into the faith with the love of Christ. Who are we if we only lavish the saints with the love of Christ? Then again we are just like the pagans. So again, don't only encourage the saints, encourage the lost as well.

In a world full of heartache and pain everyone needs a little love, a little help and a little encouragement. If the Body of Christ ever wants to be effective, ever wants to become a strong force as it was in the days of old then we have to encourage one another and come together as one. God wants us to always shower each other with loving kindness and as we love one another those who are of the world will see and be encouraged; and hopefully and prayerfully as we do the Lord's will they will be drawn into the faith by the power of the Holy Spirit who resides in us. So don't neglect the responsibility set before you by God Almighty, let's encourage ourselves and the lost all the more as we see the day approaching.

Do Not Worship Idols

In today's society idolatry seems to be common place. In the bible age idol worship was of carved wood and stone and today it's the latest celebrity that has millions upon millions falling all over themselves in awe and astonishment. Why worship carved wood and stone when you can worship the Almighty and everlasting God? Why worship a human when you can worship the Holy Spirit? It has been told to us by God, not as a suggestion but as a command, do not worship idols.

In the "Holy Days" as some like to the call them, the children of God continually found themselves in a heap of trouble because they kept committing idolatry. Every time the Lord looked upon them they were running to and fro after the newest false god; and no matter how many times God punished them for their act of disobedience they backslide and committed the same acts again. What they were doing is no different than what's going on today. The new "god" may have changed but the actions are still the same.

Today we have millions of people flocking after the latest "star," falling all over themselves and swooning over a mere human as if they possessed some sort of super powers or as if they were something that's never been seen before. People get emails and text messages sent to their phones updating them on what their favorite celebrity is doing. People will spend their last dollar on concert tickets and a brand new, head to toe outfit just to go and see this particular person perform. The news today even reports on the actions of some these celebrities, things such as where this person eats, what car they drive, their daily routine and what their favorite color is, as if this is really important and vital information for us "commoners" to know and as if they are doing something that is mind blowing and extraordinary. Concert halls look like churches as people pack them out by the thousands, losing their mind in excited anticipation of the person who is to hit the stage. Celebrities are pretty much worshiped almost as though they are celestial beings instead of human beings. We seem to have forgotten that they have blood flowing through their veins just as we and we also seem to have forgotten who worship belongs to.

I find myself asking the question, what if people were so anxious, so excited and so apt to hear and chase after God? What if churches were packed out to hear the word and feel the presence of God, in anticipation to see a move of God? What if people made sure that they were kept up to date with what the Kingdom of Heaven was doing? Because make no mistake about it, God's Kingdom is moving and if you aren't moving with it then you are being left behind. Wouldn't it be truly amazing if the attention was turned away from today's form of idolatry and focused on God? What a wonderful world it would be. But we have to face reality and those of us who know better have to make sure that the word of God is kept alive and that those who love Him worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Now don't get me wrong, it's okay to have a favorite or a few favorite celebrities, their here for entertainment. It's okay to go to a concert and enjoy some good music, but when it's when it crosses over into idolatry where we have people following every move that a person makes and when we have the glorification of a mere human that's where the problem lies. We are to worship God and Him alone, nothing and no one else. Be sure that you are always following Him with your eyes set on the prize and always be sure to not worship idols.

God Bless

You Can't Hide Anything From God

Humans carry around a lot of secrets; deep dark skeletons in our closets that we don't want to be loosed. Those areas of our hearts that we keep secret from everyone. Temptation, that nagging leech that creeps up on us when we least expect it and somehow, in a quiet little space, somewhere where we think we are all alone, we all to often find ourselves giving into it's ceaseless desires. We think, no one's watching, I'm alone, no one will ever find out, oh how wrong we are. Because it may be all well and true that no one on this earth knows (at least for now), but there is one who does, God. No matter how hard you try you can't hide anything from Him.

When one comes to God, they give up a life of disgrace, sin and temptation, totally and completely surrendering every area of our hearts to God; but this does not always occur for some. For many, there are areas of our heart that we have refused to uncallouse, secret things that we've held onto. We think no one knows but us, but you can't pull the wool over God's eyes, He is your creator and He peers down into the very depths of your heart and soul. Jeremiah 17:9-10 The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? "I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to His conduct, according to what His deeds deserve."

If we want to live a life for God truly, then we indeed have to stop holding on to hidden sin, thinking that we are keeping it hid from the eyes of God Almighty. One cannot truly live for God and still live in sin that is not possible. 1 John 3:9 "No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God." We often times don't understand why these things that we keep hidden occur but one must understand that there is no where written in the Bible that says you will not be tempted. 1 Corinthians 10:13 "And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand under it." And before you blame God for that creeping thing called sin that still tries to eat away at you always remember that God will allow what you allow and will  put up with whatever you put up with because He has given you a choice, an ability to choose your own way, even if you choose against Him. Deuteronomy 30:19 "This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live..." You have no excuses.

There is nothing that can be hidden from the eyes of God. It's a senseless person that thinks creation can hide from Creator, it's not possible. There is nowhere you can flee on this earth or the universe where the presence of God will not be, for He is the reason that everything that is, is. Psalm 139:7-12 "Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me," even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you." Saying all that to say this, let it go, there is not anything hidden that will not be disclosed. Luke 8:17"For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open." Make no mistake about it, what you do in the dark will be brought to light. But there's good news! You can save yourself from the inevitable humiliation that comes along with secrets, all you have to do is open your heart to God; allow Him to step in by the power of the Holy Spirit and free you of that secret thing you keep hidden, for there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus.

God Bless!

Hell? Is That Really Where You Want To Go?

Today, the modernist among us, would like to do away with the notion of Hell. The PhD's among us would like to do away with the cross, saying that there was no atonement for sins because this place doesn't exist. Regardless of how many PhD's you have behind your name, Hell is real, and let's hope to God that those who have this mindset, come to this realization and won't have to go there. We have the atheist, in all their humanistic arrogance, shaking their fist at the notion of an old rugged cross, upon which our Savior died, claiming that it's a figment of the imagination and only someone insane or weak would actually believe that something of the sort occurred. And as much of a shame this is, we have Preachers, who are supposed to be the leaders amongst the believers, doing away with the cross, not preaching on sin and certainly not preaching on Hell, but are rather giving their Church members 3 points and a poem with a little bit of scripture thrown in for good measure and telling the people how to puff and powder up what God told them to crucify; but certainly not preaching on Hell, the majority of them don't even believe in this actuality anymore. Well, I ask you this question, if by chance it is, is it a place where you would like to go?

People have this idea of Hell as just a place where Satan and his minions take up residence, no; let me tell you, Hell is a place where the unrestrained wrath of the Almighty God is unleashed in it's all of it's essence and fury with nothing to restrain it; it is a place where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth, a place of great pain and a place that once you are in, there is no turning back. In heaven, there are 12 gates of which you can leave in and out freely, but in Hell there is one gate, and once you are in that's it; it will be your eternal residence, not for a day, not for a month, not for a year, but forever and trust me, forever is a long time. Hell, a place where you have to get a body suited for eternal destruction, Hell a place where there is sighing and unimaginable torture, that is inescapable. Is that where you want to go?

We have the modern day preachers who are supposed to uphold the doctrine of Jesus Christ, but do away with preaching on Hell because their afraid that if they speak of this place that the number of Church attenders will drop. God didn't call you to be a people pleaser, He didn't call you to win friends and gain influence, He called you to win souls for the Kingdoms sake. And all the more if a preacher will not preach on Hell, then He should not preach on Jesus because Jesus came to die for us to take back that which was lost, to release us from the bondage and captivity of death and give to us the free gift of eternal life, and if there is eternal life then there is eternal death. Don't edit Hell out of your preaching, speak on it all the more because if you choose not too, then you will end up right there with the very people who say Hell doesn't exist.

The atheists shakes his fist at the believer, declaring their foolishness, proclaiming that there is no Hell, that there is no God and it is preposterous for one, especially in this day and age to believe in such a fairy tail. Okay, no one can shove anything down anyone's throat, nor is that the believers job to do so but I do have to ask you some questions, since you all seem to like to ask a lot of questions to those of the faith. Why get so upset at the believer for living a life of faith? You made your choice and no one's mad at you? And also you say that living a life of faith is a waste of time; I don't know about you but if I die today and Heaven is not be real (which I highly doubt), I would have wasted no time and I would have led a life of full abundance and joy and if it is real (which I do so strongly believe) then I can rejoice all the more because I will be in the arms of my Father, rejoicing in the presence of my Lord and Savior and the great Comforter forevermore. But as for you, the non-believer, if you died today and it for chance was real and you have not believed, are you ready to take on the eternal consequences for your doubt, unbelief and rejection of Christ? Would you still believe that it was a waste of time? Is Hell a place that you are ready to go?

Don't go to Hell for anybody, Hell was not made for you. Hell was made for Satan and all the little demons and devils that run about with Him. From the very foundations of the world, God made a home for us, a place called Heaven, where there is undying and never ending joy; a place where you will sigh, cry and die no more. People often ask the question, how can a loving God send someone to Hell. Don't disrespect God as if He's a dictator and you didn't have a choice in the matter, He set before you a choice in Deuteronomy, saying, I set before you today, life or death, blessing or cursing, and then He tells you to choose life; it's all on you. So if Hell is where you end up, it's because you made all the right choices and decisions in your lifetime to get there; you sure can't blame God, because He's done all He can, up to the sacrifice of His Son to keep you from going there, you can't even blame Satan because you do have freewill, the only person you can blame is yourself, you have authority over your life and over soul and it is up to you what you will do with it. So why not make the smart decision and place your soul in the hands of God, don't keep it in your hands so it can become tainted and rot and perish. Choose life, it's not hard to live for God, it's only hard if you don't really want to, so what in the world are you afraid of? That you can't live a sinful lifestyle anymore? Why would you want to? Is Hell where you want to go? I highly doubt it or at least I hope not. So just choose life! When you stand before the throne of God you will be glad you did. And this is not meant to scare you, it's meant for you to wake up out of your lifeless slumber and run as fast as you can into the arms of Jesus because time waits for no one, your next breath isn't even promised.

God Bless!!!

Don't Be Afraid

We live in an age of increasing uncertainty. With all the atrocities that are heard everyday, all around the world, it leads one to wonder where one can go and be safe. While one used to be able to find comfort in the safety and security of their own home, even now that is questionable. But those who know God and have faith in His word know that you can find safety and security in the arms of Jesus Christ. In Him there is no need for one to be shaken or to be afraid.

When the walls that surround you seem as though they are about to cave in, don't be afraid. When trouble surrounds you on every side and you can't get up for getting knocked back down, don't be afraid, get up and keep moving. When you go to the doctor and you get an unfavorable report, don't be afraid, believe the report of the Lord. Find your strength in the faithfulness and the word of the Almighty God.

What would happen if this generation of mankind would truly come to know and realize that everything they need and freedom from fear lies in Christ, and in Him there is no condemnation. In Christ you can be free from pain, free from depression, free from worry, free from doubt, free from misery, totally and completely free from anything that is holding you in bondage. Learn to let go. Let go of all your inhibitions and come to Christ Jesus, there is no need to be afraid.

And this spirit of fear isn't limited to what we see and hear on the news; a lot of fear goes on within the mind. It's those little things that eat away at us that we don't want anyone to know about; those secret things that many keep under wraps. You want to get rid of it, but you just feel so weak. You try and shake it, but in the midnight hour you all too often find yourself bowing down at the table of your adversary in fear. God is telling you today, I see your pain, I see your struggle, I know what you're going through, even in those secret times when you thought you were all alone I was there, let go today. You don't have to be afraid, you don't have to give in any longer. Draw near to me and I will strengthen you and make your paths anew.

Why fear when there is an empty tomb. Rejoice and no longer be afraid. Our Savior Lives!!!

God Bless!!!

Praise the Lord!

God is awesome! His works astounding! His right hand mighty! His knowledge and wisdom beyond what our minds can fathom! His faithfulness and greatness beyond measure! His love, none can compare! His voice, soothing to the soul! His grace, all sufficient! His power, to mighty for us to handle! His Son, faithful! His Spirit, comforting! To sum it all up because the list could go on and on, God is worthy to be praised, so why don't you just go ahead and praise the Lord!

The children of God ought to always have a smile on their face, rejoicing everyday in the presence of the Lord. The God we live for and serve is wonderful. He has such great compassion for us. He looks down upon us and He smiles. We are his beloved and redeemed children and He makes sure that we know that daily, we ought to praise Him.

I find it quite strange when I see those who say they are children of God, with their heads always hung low, never smiling, always tight lipped, with a woe is me, Charlie Brown attitude. And then they wonder why their skies are always gray, why gloom and doom always seem to be knocking on their door. It's because you have lost your praise. Instead of rejoicing, you frown; instead of clapping your hands with the multitude, you stand with your arms folded. When the devil has stolen your praise, He has stolen a vital weapon. No matter what you go through in life you should always praise the Lord. If your at the highest of heights, or the greatest depths of the valley, praise the Lord!

And some of us get it confused, praise is not just something you do at Church; your whole life is a praise to God. When you walk in the footsteps of God, being obedient, yielding under His will and being a true Christian, a "little Christ," then you are praising Him. So don't think that praise only consist of dancing and singing; when you wake up in the morning and every action you make in life should be a praise to the Lord.

Psalm 149:1 "Praise the Lord. Sing to the Lord a new song, His praise in the assembly of the saints."

Psalm 149:5 "Let the saints rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on their beds."

Psalm 150:6 "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord."

God Bless!!!

Pride Kills

All too often, many of us perish, in some shape or form, due to pride. There comes a time in life, where your pride will have to be knocked aside. God calls us to be humble; humility, in some situations, may not always be easy but it is required of you. One day you may be placed in a position where you'll be faced with a decision to either humble yourself and live or remain prideful and perish, pride can kill.

Life throws all sorts of curve balls at us and we often end up knocked down, bruised and battered. We go through life on are own, too ashamed to admit where we've fallen, too embarrassed to ask for help, to prideful to let someone know what's going on. But if we would just open our mouth and humble ourselves, we would realize, that more so than not, help is right in front of us, but pride will cause you to miss your way out.

I've seen it so many times. People drowning and sin, you can see the shame from the actions they've committed, but with tight lips they refuse to let it out and confess, too embarrassed, too prideful to admit that they've done wrong. Or people who have fallen on financial hard times; they don't look the way the used to, they don't dress the way they used to, they seem to be struggling, you know something's not right, you can pretty much guess what's going on, you're willing to help but due to pride, they won't open their mouth and say, "I need help!" They would rather suffer and struggle on, than let someone know that they are going through a fiery trial.

Pride kills. It's as simple as that. The proud have a long fall from the top, some are already at the bottom and will suffer even worse blows. But it doesn't have to be this way. Take the mask off and humble yourself. If you're hurting, tell someone. Don't sit there and suffer alone because you're so full of pride. If you're struggling, reach out for help, don't perish when help and breakthrough could be right in front of you, don't let your pride drag you down to the depths. Pride kills, so let it go.

Stand

There are times in your journey with God where it will be no one but you and Him. You are not going to always have a lot of people around you to lean on, there won't always be someone to turn to, so you have to be strong and learn how to face reality and deal with life's ups and downs all on your own. But even in those tough and trying times, where you have absolutely no one to depend on, and you've done all you can do to make it, just stand; knowing that you are not ever totally alone because your Savior, Jesus Christ, is always with you and as it says in His word, He will never leave you nor forsake you.

In today's society, especially amongst the younger generation, we feel as though we have to have a ton of people around us, we feel as though the more people that are around us, the more support we have; this leads us into a false sense of security because we get comfortable and forget that there will come a time where it will be no one but you, and you alone.

God requires His children to be strong, bold and mighty; He desires for us to lean and depend on no one for comfort and support but Him, because at the end of the day, He is really all we have. But some of us even at the slightest hint of loneliness cower down in fear and roam about searching for a confidant. We in the body of Christ need to become equipped to deal with life's blows all on our own; you don't need man, all you need  is God and His strength will enable you to stand.

Be like Elijah on Mount Carmel, it was no one but he and 450 prophets of Baal, but you didn't see him run, tuck tail and hide, he took a stand, knowing that his God was with him all the way and he was victorious.

:Lean and depend on nobody but God Almighty, seek His strength and stand.

Reverence for the Name of God

In the world of today, God's Holy and precious name, is cast around like it is void of meaning. The mockers and nay sayers speak of Him as though He's just a part of the imagination of believers or as if He is some idle object that can be discarded at the hint of displeasure. But their are a people today, a remnant group of followers, who love the precious and Holy name of God, who still have reverence for His Name.

God is to be held in the highest regard. His presence is magnificent, His Word is powerful and His Spirit gives strength to those who seek it. There are times when the Spirit of God is so heavy upon me that I can barely lift up my head to speak to Him, let alone even say His name; and it just baffles me how people today just toss around His name and even have the nerve enough to put the name of Jesus Christ, up next to Muhammed and Buddha. Last time I checked, Jesus is alive and is the Christ, the Son of God, there is no comparison.

And the disrespect continues on even further, we have people who say they love God, and say His Holy and matchless name out of the same mouth that vile and treacherous language spills out of. Where is the respect for God? If you love Him, you revere Him. Cursing and then saying His name or even using His name in the same sentence doesn't even match up.

The respect for God Almighty needs to be renewed. When you speak to God, when you say His name, do not hold Him as common; He is not common place. Don't fling around His name as you would a mere acquaintance name. Respect Him, Honor Him, Praise Him, Worship Him and have reverence for His Holy name.

God Is Faithful

Sometimes I find myself just sitting back and thinking about my Heavenly Father. His goodness amazes me constantly and always sets me in awe. There are things that God has done in my life that have totally and completely blew my mind and sometimes I ask myself why, why would God do that for me? Why would a Holy and Perfect God, love such wretched souls as we who dwell here upon earth? Why does He still stick to His Word and come through for us, even when we fail to come through on our word to Him? It amazes me how faithful God is. I know that this is something we hear people say all the time, that God is faithful, but I think we really need to sit back and think about that, God is faithful.

Think about your life. Think about how many times God has come through for you. Think about how many times you've been left alone, but He was still there with you. Think about times when you were lost and couldn't find your way out and He grabbed your hand and led you to the end of the tunnel. This could go on and on. I don't know about you but as I ponder these scenarios I can honestly say that God has been with me in each one, every step of the way, remaining faithful.

Even when we fail, He's faithful. God could do away with us and has every right to for all the nonsense we have gotten ourselves into and for all the sinful debauchery we have taken part in but no, He's still here, fighting for us as He did for the Israelites in the Old Testament. What a faithful Father we have. I don't care what you're going through. I don't care if the walls are caving in upon you, you should wake up every morning and say, Father, thank you for being faithful.

But lets not just thank God for and proclaim His faithfulness over the things that He has done in our lives in this temporal world, because He is God Almighty, for Him to deliver you a miracle to get you out of debt or pay a bill or save you from some type of trouble you've gotten in, is nothing; He created Heaven and Earth and everything in it, there's nothing impossible for Him to do, and He doesn't even have to lift a finger to get these temporal things taken care of. But lets remember His ultimate act of faithfulness, the sacrifice of His Son. God, Himself incarnate, coming down from all the splendor, riches and glory of Heaven, to become as us. Do you understand for Jesus to become like us, He had to become a worm. He died and saved our souls, won the battle and rose again, giving us eternal life for free, fulfilling the word and promise that He made all the way back to His covenant with Abraham. GOD IS FAITHFUL!!!

Whenever you're feeling down and feeling out, remember the faithfulness of God, He is your Father and He will come through. It is impossible for Him to do nothing about your situation. When He fulfilled His promise on that cross, everything you would ever need and every go through was taken care of and defeated; remember who your Savior is, remember who your God is, He is faithful!

Worship God, Not Man

In today's society, idol worship seems to be of common place. As millions of people fall all over themselves over the "hottest" celebrity of the moment; trembling at their every move, wanting to know everything about them, from what they eat in the morning to what toothpaste they use to brush their teeth before they go to bed at night. Millions flock to fill concert halls and arenas, all to throw their hands up in excited anticipation of what is going to come out of this person's mouth, and in today's world it's usually some nonsense. How quickly we forget that these people have red blood flowing through their veins just like everybody else and there is no real difference, especially God's eyes; the only difference amongst man is those that are saved and those that are lost.We need to realize who it is that should be worshiped, and that is God Almighty, not man.

What would happen if a generation woke up and realized that those who they look to are human just like they. In a world that wants to view those who have reached a certain level of affluence as "gods" or super human, we who are of the faith must take a step back, use our spiritual eyes and focus in, now more than ever, on He who was and is and is to come; and that is Jesus Christ!

We need to be less concerned about what man is doing in this temporal world, and more concerned about what God is doing and the advancement of His Kingdom. Focusing less on the movement of man, and more focused on the movement of God, fleeing into the arms of Jesus, running and filling the house of God, to hear what the man of God has to say. What would happen if people really began to give God Almighty the true worship that is due His holy and mighty name? One can only imagine.

Take a look at man. We're evil, deceitful, back stabbing, with filthy and perverted minds, perverted and slanderous tongues, full of hatred, weak and wicked, can't get it right even on our best day, and this is who some run after. Who on earth, in their right mind, would want to worship man, I don't know about you, but i'll pass. As for me and my house we will serve the Lord

It's okay to have a role model, it's okay to like someone's music, but when one begins to focus in on a mere human's every move and action, falling all over themselves over this person, idolizing this person, trembling in awe in the presence of this person, who is man, just like the rest of us, that's a problem. God, and God alone is the one who is to be worshiped not man.

Acts 10:25-26 "As Peter entered the house, Cornelius met him and fell at his feet in reverence. But Peter made Him get up. "Stand up," he said. "I am only a man myself."

Your Labor Is Not In Vain

In the Kingdom of God we are called to labor. God does not seek nor does He want a lazy child or servant. But being the humans that we are there are times that we grow weary; with the trials and tribulations that we face on a regular basis, sometimes it's hard to put a smile on our face is we work in God's harvest field, but what we must come to know and always remember is that our labor is not in vain.

Though you may toil day and night, night and day, you must not forget what is up ahead. There are times where the future may look dim, but don't give up; there may be times when you can't get up for getting knocked back down, but don't give in. As you work before God, ministering to the lost and to the needy in His Kingdom, He is watching and He is keeping a very precise and detailed record of all your actions, you will be richly rewarded.

Now we all know that God rewards those who labor, but don't let that be your only motivation for doing whatever it is that you do in God's Kingdom; the number one mode of motivation that should get and keep you active no matter what is your love for Him. Those who truly love God, do as He says and no matter what goes on in life, that burning desire that they have for God in their heart is the thing that keeps them motivated, even when surrounded by darkness.

Don't worry and don't doubt, your humility and labor has been fully accredited for in Heaven. God sees your constant work, and God loves those who are constantly about His business. Imitate our Savior, Jesus Christ, who no matter what He faced, or how He felt, He made sure that the task before Him was complete. As you minister to the lost and to God's flock, be sure to try and always smile, rejoicing in the hope that has been given to us in the Body of Christ. Always look past your feelings and fears, as you serve our Heavenly Father in love, knowing that your labor is not in vain.

Acts 10:4 The angel answered, "Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God."

Your Miracle Is Coming

There are times in our walk with God where we are not going to know the outcome of things right away. This often times leads us into the realm of doubt and unbelief; but instead of falling off the faith or doubting God, these are the times where our faith in Him should become the strongest. I know it's hard when you're facing the unknown or a deadline is drawing nearer and nearer and it just seems like too short of time for God to move, but don't give up and don't give in, you're miracle is right in the hands of God and it is coming!

We have to be like Abraham in the times when we feel like we are walking into the unknown. When God told Abraham to leave everything he knew in his homeland and set out for a new land, Abraham didn't ask God any questions, he just simply obeyed, even though he had no idea where this new land was or what trials awaited him on his journey. Our walk with God should be the same way, especially in the times when we don't know what is to come; believe and trust in God and He will do the same for you as He did for Abraham, Genesis 15:6 "Abram believed the Lord, and He credited it to him as righteousness."

Matthew 6:8 "Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him."

Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him; do you really believe that He is going to stand by and not move on your behalf? Do you think the arm of God is too short to deliver you your miracle? Do you believe that God is not powerful enough to move in your situation? Our Father is the Creator of Heaven and Earth and everything therein, do you really think there's something that is just too impossible for Him to do? If so, you shouldn't. Our Father specializes in the impossible! The very fact that you even have a need is proof enough that He has already provided for it. Use that gift of faith that our Savior Jesus Christ died to give you and trust God. Everything you need is right there for you, just believe.

No one said our walk with God was going to be an easy one, that's why the path we are walking on is called the narrow path, not too many can make it, you have to be tough, you have to be a warrior and you have to have faith, it is vital. God is able to do more than what our feeble minds can even begin to conceive, Ephesians 3:20 "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us." He knows there are things you need, he knows that unless He steps in you can't make it without Him and He knows that there are things you are believing in Him for, just because you haven't got an answer yet does not mean that the answer is no. Have faith in God! He will come through! Trust Him! Everything you need is coming!

God Bless!!!
