Persecution

Ignorance is alive and well! We shouldn't be shocked in the slightest, Jesus said it would happen. Those of the Christian faith are laughed at, mocked, talked about, ridiculed and various other things. Though these issues are quite frustrating at times we of the faith should never be discouraged, we should never back down or shy away, God built us better than that. But when faced with ignorance we should never respond to it with another form of ignorance. We should respond to it out of love as often as we can, exhibiting the love of God that is within our hearts. God does not desire for us to be going back in forth in foolish banter, that type of activity will get you no where. We are to be leading others to Christ, not turning them even further away with hateful words that we may use because we are angry, we are held at a higher standard. The old saying comes in to play, "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." So when faced with persecution don't fret, don't get upset, God's looking out for you and the Holy Spirit will show up right on time, telling you exactly what to say, so just keep your composure. God Bless!!!
