Work!!!

We live in a society where everyone wants a hand out, everyone is looking to be given something for nothing.  We have been conditioned to have this idea of self entitlement, that's its all about us and that everyone owes us something. Ummmm, excuse me, since when did the earth begin to revolve around you? On what planet do you live where you can get something for nothing? This is not Burger King and you can have it your way. Jesus is the center and in His Kingdom you are to work. People have lost the notion of what working really is and it's time that we all learn.

When you begin to speak on working people shrink back; people don't want to hear that they have to work for something, that they aren't entitled to something for nothing. We have way too many able bodied and able minded people waiting on a government check or running around to play the lottery to get something for absolutely nothing at all.

The even sadder thing is that people even expect this from God. Since when did God's Kingdom start revolving around you? Since when did God center everything He did around you? Yes, He died for you, that's true, but don't get too arrogant, because though it was for you, it was ultimately for the Kingdom's sake and for the Father so God Almighty could receive back that which is lost. He didn't save you for you, He saved you for Him and for His name's sake. Stop coming before God like He owes you something. We in God's Kingdom are the owners of nothing but the stewards of everything and God expects you to work. God does not want nor desire any lazy children in the Body of Christ and those who fall into this category better get it right or else they will be discarded like dross. Since when did a lazy warrior accomplish anything for God?

A blessing is not about to fall out of Heaven and hit you on top of the head, like an apple falling out of a tree, there are things that God requires from you and one of them is to work. The Holy Bible still says in 2 Thessalonians 3: 10"If a man will not work, he shall not eat." So what are you doing sitting down and laying around all day long, everyday. No one owes you a dime and God for sure doesn't. You want to something? Work for it. It's as simple as that.

And don't get confused, just because you have a job, does not mean that you are working; if you show up late and leave early, that's not working. If you stand around and wait to be told what to do instead of taking it up upon yourself to go the extra mile, that's not working, if you do the bare minimum, if that, then that's not working. Get down on your knees and ask God to give you a spirit of servant hood and to teach you how to work. Get rid of that secular thinking, that you're entitled to something, you're not! You're not entitled to anything. Everything belongs to God and He gives it to whom He pleases. If you want to be the one who receives what God has in His hand, then work, it's that simple.

God Bless!!!

Follow God, Not Man!

We live in a world where the minds of the masses are so easily deluded. We have people flocking to this medium and that medium, to this counselor and that counselor. People sit in front of a television and watch whatever popular orator of the moment, who knows nothing about them, and they eat up every bit of so called knowledge that pours from their mouth; but yet folks wonder why they still have the same problems, maybe it's because you're following and listening to man, instead of God.

In times such as these where peril befalls so many of us each and every day, it is vital to our existence that we cling to our Father and His word. There are so many out there who are giving people false advice and leading people down the wrong path for their own selfish gain. We need to hear the voice of our Shepherd, Jesus Christ, and follow Him and Him alone on the paths that He has prepared for us.

Sometimes people act as though if they follow God they have something to loose and instead turn to man; last time I checked man was a liar, a deceiver and a full of treachery but God is faithful, righteous, omnipotent, mighty, holy and so much more.

Whenever one decides to rely on man instead of God, things 9 times out of 10 go drastically wrong. I've seen it and heard it so many times; people who've gotten guidance from God and know His word but let man talk them out of it and next thing you know, BAM!!!! Their spiritually smacked or physically attacked with something all because they didn't listen to God's instruction.

God didn't tell you to think, He told you to obey. He didn't tell you to follow man, He told you to follow Him. God will never lead you to a place that you'll never make it out of. Now with man, you have to be very careful of who you decided to listen to and befriend, especially in these evil days.

So next time you are feeling indecisive, don't run around to man who more than likely has the wrong answer, run to God. He will lead you and guide you and tell you what it is that you need to do. Trust God, He will never steer you in the wrong direction and He promised you in His word that He would never leave you nor forsake you (Joshua 1:5). So make the choice to day, to from here on out, to stand firm on the promises of God and follow Him and Him alone, not man.

God Bless!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Merry Christmas to everyone! May we all spend time with our family and close friends. Enjoying one another's presence and loving one another. This time of year is one of the best, where merriment and joy seems to spread, like an infection worldwide! Everyone's cheery and upbeat, full of pep, shining and smiling bright with life. With all the bright colored bows, wrapping paper, fluff and expensive gifts, one could easily begin to forget why we rejoice and celebrate this day. Let us remember, especially those in the Body of Christ, for we have received the ultimate gift of Jesus Christ.

This day is not just a day for us to feed our carnal desires for material possessions, but we must truly come to realize that this day is what it is because a Savior was placed into this world. He came to seek, serve, save and surrender. If it were not for Him, you would not be waking up to the smell of delicious food, the sound of laughter and cheer as loved ones open their gifts. If it were not for Him, this day would be just like any other and we wouldn't have this Holy Day.

Let's all remember what this day is truly about and keep the Christ in Christmas, you can give a gift any day but it's not everyday that you can receive a Savior. And on this special day let us call into remembrance, like no other day, what God Almighty has done for us. As we give our gifts to one another, we do so in celebration of the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

This day God's redemption plan began to take full effect, the hearts of man were in the process of being returned to the Father and the souls of man reaped from the bowels of Hell. We ought to thank God for His Son each and everyday, for what He has done, so be sure to do that on this day like you never have before.

And let us say a prayer for those for which nothing has been provided. Though they may not have received something temporal, they do possess something eternal, the love and presence of Jesus Christ and their is no greater gift. May the Holy Spirit's presence be with them and fall upon them heavily as He comforts and quiets them with His love, in Jesus name!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR!!! WE LOVE YOU BLESSED TRINITY!!! WE GIVE YOU ALL THE GLORY ON THIS WONDERFUL DAY!!!

God Bless You Everyone & Merry Christmas!!!

You Can't Interfere With What God Is Doing

God's plan is better than your plan, His thoughts are higher than your thoughts and His ways are higher than your ways. Stop trying to out think God; it is impossible for you to do. Stop trying to plan ahead of God; what God has prepared for you is better than what you have prepared for you, your future is in the hands of God and you can't interfere with what God is doing.

Sometimes we need to learn that we are not in control. It's easier said than done at times to just sit back and relax and let go of life's steering wheel, but that's what God requires of us and that's where faith should enter in. As a child of God, you should always rest assure that God has your life under complete control. You trying to think things out and plan things out will get you no where; there are times when God doesn't want you to know the outcome and that's okay because with God you can trust that everything is going to be alright.

Stepping outside of God's plan will only lead you to trouble. When the children of God step outside of God's plan we are bound to fall into some trouble; we are no longer under the hand of God and are now relying on our own strength to make it. When you go outside of God's plan, interfering with what He is doing, your actions are showing God that you seem to think you can do it all without Him and you don't need His help. Now you may not be doing this intentionally but actions speak louder than words. Some people have a false sense of humility, they think, "Well I won't bother God. I'll just do it myself." That's not being humble, following God's word and staying under His will is being humble.

God requires you to call upon Him whenever you are in need, in good times and in bad; He hasn't left His children to their own devices. If God expected you to do everything on your own then Jesus wouldn't have went to the Cross; God desires for you to lean and depend on Jesus every day of your life. Trust God always and ask Him to let His will be done not yours.

In 1 Kings 12:24 God tells Shemaiah to tell Rehoboam son of Solomon, King of Judah and the whole house of Judah and Benjamin to not fight against their Israelite brothers and that's just what they do. "This is what the Lord says: Do not go up to fight against your brothers the Israelites. Go home, every one of you, for this is my doing." So they obeyed the word of the Lord and went home again, as the Lord had ordered."

You can't interfere with what God is doing and it is in your best interest to let Him lead you and guide you. Don't let your pride get in the way and don't think for one second that you know what God is getting ready to do, because just when you think He's doing one thing, He'll surprise you and shock your shoes off by doing another.

God Bless!

Stop Complaining

God's Kingdom is not a Burger King Kingdom, you can't have it your way. God is going to do as He sees fit and He's going to do as He pleases; it is your job to sit back relax and trust in God and His plan over your life; not cry, whine and complain because what you're going through for a moment may be a bit uncomfortable and unfamiliar. Is God a liar? No! Has God ever left you to your own devices? No! Didn't He promise you that He would never leave you nor forsake you? Yes! So what are you complaining for? Stop it!

Romans 8:18"I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." Yes, the Body of Christ does suffer much, but the majority of us have not suffered unto blood. For example, I hear some Christians complain because they have a bill that needs to be paid and they don't have the money for it, now while that is serious, it's nothing to complain about; don't you know who your Father is? Why are you stressing over a bill? Isn't Jehovah Jireh your provider? What a slap in the face of God; to say He can't deliver such a pint sized blessing as that; God can do that without even lifting His finger. I mean God, our Father, created the Heavens and the Earth and everything in it, do you honestly believe that He can't give you a blessing to pay a bill. Let's get serious and exhibit some real faith in God and stop complaining.

There are people in other countries losing their lives for even mentioning the name of Christ and are truly suffering unto blood, and a lot of us sit back and complain over the slightest hint of adversity. We who are blessed enough to help those who are truly suffering, should rise up and get out of the high chair, take the bib off and put down the baby bottle and work in the harvest field, doing what God has called us to do in His Kingdom.

The power of life and death lies in your tongue, the next time you begin to complain, say, "Stop it! That's enough!" Speak words of life into any and every situation that you face, whether big or small. There is no sense in complaining, especially if you have faith in God and His ability to turn your situation around and in your favor. The amount of complaining you do shows God exactly how much faith you have in Him, and for some, you're showing God that you have no faith in Him at all.

Take a look at the Saints in the early church and all the persecution they had to go through:
Hebrews 11:32-37"And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell you about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets, who through faith conquered Kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. Women received back their dead, raised to life again. Others were tortured and refused to be released, so that they might gain a better resurrection. Some faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison. They were stoned; they were sawed in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated..." And you think what you're going through to is tough? You have no idea what true suffering is. So count your blessings, have faith in God and be patient.

Is our walk with God easy? No. But He gave you His word so you can make it through and have something to stand on. Instead of complaining every time something goes wrong, be quiet and stand on the words of God and have faith; that's all you have to do and that is not too much to ask. Let the complaining cease and let the faith rise.

Remember, there is someone out there whose worse off than you and who would love to be in your shoes.

God Bless

God Is So Faithful

God is so faithful! We may waver and falter, but He never will. We may break our promises, but He never will. We may go back on our word, but God Almighty never will. We may leave Him, but He'll never leave us. Our Father is so faithful and when I even begin to think about His faithfulness I am filled with abundant joy and gladness. What a Great, Glorious, Awesome and Faithful God we have. We ought to rise and lift our hands to the heavens in great thanksgiving and mercy for our Father whenever and wherever we are. Yahweh is wonderful! Yahweh is faithful!

There are times when I've read my Bible and I would just say to myself, "Wow! God is so faithful! These people did all sorts of detestable acts known to mankind, idolatry and all sorts of other abominations; but God is still standing guard over them and still faithful to His word." What a wonder our Abba is! Our Abba, Father is faithful!

There are also times when I think about what if God was like us. We would all be in a world of trouble. As a matter of fact we probably wouldn't even be here, but no, God is so much greater and higher than us, beyond what our feeble minds can imagine. His patience is never ending. He never grows tired or weary with His creation and He loves us to the core! God is faithful!

Think about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All that He suffered in becoming sin itself. How we scorned him and laughed at Him and beat Him and treated Him far worse than the scum of the earth. And to know that God Almighty, the Creator of Heaven and Earth and everything therein, looked upon all of this being done to His one and only Son, and He turned His back to it, so that His word would be fulfilled and that His redemption plan for our souls would take effect. God could have sent a fleet of angels and destroyed each and every one of us, but He didn't, He remained faithful to us and to His word. Jesus Christ, could have said, "No, I'm not doing this! I will not become sin itself and go to the depths of Hell and suffer for these wretched abominations!" But He didn't. He remained faithful and obedient, even obedient to death on the cross! Our God is faithful! Jesus Christ is faithful!

Sometimes when we think about God's faithfulness, we tend be carnally minded instead of spiritually minded, and think about what God has done for us in the natural; helped us pay a bill, helped us go here or there, we wanted something and God gave it to us and that is all great and wonderful but that's not it, that's not even the height of God's faithfulness, that stuff is easy for God to do, He doesn't even have to lift a finger to perform things such as that, that's temporal stuff. God's faithfulness is so much deeper than that. It's time to straighten up an use our spiritual eyes and thank Him for the ultimate things He's done! He's been and will forever be faithful!

And remember, even when you mess up, He's still faithful, He's still there, you'll pay a little price, but God will still be with you and He will still be faithful, so don't fret, God disciplines those He loves! He is faithful!

God Bless! God is Faithful!

Come Together As Brothers & Sisters

In a world that's so cold and unforgiving, we in the Body of Christ should stick together at all times. Life in this world for anyone is tough and unrelenting but it's even worse for those of us in God's Kingdom. We drone about as aliens upon the earth, longing for home but are awaiting the arrival of our captain, that is Jesus Christ, to come and carry us off to the Great and Mighty one and to our long waiting salvation. To make it through and across the victory line it is imperative that we come together as often as we can as brothers and sisters.

Many of us attend Church quite frequently throughout the week (as we always should) and so many times after the service is over, many are rushing out the door, back out to the hustle and bustle of the world. My Pastor often says, "Why are so many in a hurry to get back out to hell?" and I agree with him. Stop! Take a breather! Slow down! Don't be in such a rush to leave the presence of God and to leave the company of your brothers and sisters. Stay a while. Strengthen them and allow them to strengthen you. Enjoy each other's company in the presence of God.

But our banding together in the Body of Christ shouldn't only be done at the building called the Church. We should also come together as often as we can outside the Church walls because that's where the real problems occur and where we are hit and affected the most.  Be like the Churches in the New Testament. There were very few believers during that time (like 60 in a city of 250,000), so they made it a priority to come together and they met in each others homes. Now if anyone who is reading this, and is anything like me, then you probably don't want 60 people in your house which is understandable and our society doesn't really permit us to all come together and live in one community, that would be a bit cult like. But if you could just get together with 3 or 4 different people and just come together in the presence of the Lord, that would make a huge difference and you don't have to just stay in the house, you can go somewhere and have fun and the Lord will be right there with you. I feel as though there's a big misconception among people when it comes to the Body of Christ; like we don't know how to have fun. I don't know about anybody else but i'm having the time of my life living under the will of God and i'm sure it's the same for many others.

So come together with your brothers and sisters. Reach out and meet some new people in the Body of Christ. Go out together to the highways and byways and spread the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And enjoy this beautiful life our Father has created and blessed us with!

God Bless!

God Will Give You Whatever You Need

He is Jehovah Jireh! Our Provider!

Whatever you need is right in the hands of God. All you have to do is reach out by faith and grab a hold of it. Being in a world where there seems to be trouble, stress and grief at every turn, we often forget who our Father is; sometimes we forget that He is a prayer answering, need meeting God. If only we would shake ourselves of the doubt and unbelief, come to our senses and realize that God is still in the business of providing for His Children, He always has been and He always will be.

Jesus fed the thousands! You think He can't feed you? God sent the Israelites the food of angels in the middle of the desert! You think He doesn't know where you are and is incapable of meeting your need? Jesus raised a woman's son from the dead! You think He can't pick you up out of your pit? God is more than able! He is more than capable and He is willing and ready to provide! So why don't you take a step of faith, like Abraham, and trust God today! He is the leader and captain of your soul.

There is nothing that God wouldn't do for you! There's nothing that God would deny you of! He proved that to you on the cross! He proved to us that everything is ours! Including His Son! Jesus is ours and we are His! When you come to God in the name of Jesus, be ready to receive. Their is nothing that God won't do for Jesus, so there is nothing that God won't do for you, who are coming before Him, in the name of Jesus. God will give all good things in accordance with His will.

So many times and all too often I hear people complaining (mostly Christians) about this, that and the other and as I look at them I think to myself, "Aren't you supposed to have faith? Don't you know who are Father is? He is Yahweh! He is He who created the earth and everything in it in 7 days! You think He can't turn your situation around." We in the Body of Christ are supposed to have faith in God. Knowing that He supplies our need. Knowing that He hears our prayers and the answer is on its way. It's a slap in the face to God to sit back and worry. Like He is incapable of moving and producing a miracle. Like His arm is too short or too weak to save us and turn the tables in our favor. God knows what you need before you even ask, so just believe and receive, there is absolutely no need in worrying. Worrying produces nothing but grief, stress and anxiety but faith produces miracles, blessings and joy. So take your pick. You can either choose to worry or to have faith and I for one think that having and living by faith is so very much easier.

God didn't say that He is I Am for no reason. He is all that you need. You need a blessing? God says, "I AM!" You need a financial breakthrough? "God says, "I AM!" You need a miracle? "God says, "I AM!" Trust in the Great I Am! He has it all under control. Our Father takes good care of His children, so just believe in Him today.

Since the beginning of time God has been providing and He hasn't stopped.

For example in 2 Kings 4, God sends a word and feeds the hundreds. 2 Kings 4:42-44 "A man came from Baal Shalishah, bringing the man of God twenty loaves of barely bread baked from the first ripe grain, along with some heads of new grain. "Give it to the people to eat," Elisha said. "How can I set this before a hundred men?" His servant asked. But Elisha answered, "Give it to the people to eat. For this is what the Lord says: "They will eat and have some left over." Then he set it before them, and they ate and had some left over, according to the word of the Lord."

God will provide for you, even if He has to deliver you your blessing by way of ravens. So just trust in God. God will give you whatever it is that you need.

God Bless!

Have Faith

On your walk with God along the path of righteousness it is imperative that you have faith!

Faith can move mountains! Faith gets prayers answered! Faith brings the presence of God into your life! Faith sends the devil running in the opposite direction! So just have faith!

I know that sometimes it is easier said and done. I've been there myself plenty of times. In this life, troubles seems to be around every corner. You wake up some mornings and every thing is great and then the next day it's hell. People are anxiety ridden, anxious, nervous, fearful, worried, struggling, suffering, sighing and dying; but through it all we have to hold on to the precious gift that God has given us to make it through this life, from day to day and that gift is faith.

We are to have faith in God no matter what; He is the Great and Mighty One and He is faithful to His Word and to His children! When you don't have no one to depend on, have faith and always remember that God is still on His Throne! There are going to be times on this path of righteousness where you bury your head in your pillow and cry yourself to sleep, but don't ever give up! Those who have faith in God endure til the end, even if it hurts to the very core. There are going to be times when you are singing a cheery tone at noon on top of the mountain, but there are also going to be times where everything may seems like it crumbling and you have nothing to stand on and are in the depths of the valley, but don't give up and don't fall weak, when you have nothing left but Jesus Christ, you have enough left to start all over again. Have faith!

So don't let life's pitfalls and stress drag you down and cause you to lose sight of who you are. You are child of God! A child of the King! There is nothing that He can't do! And for us, who have faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, there is nothing that He won't do for us. So just believe in God! Trust in God! Trust in His Son! Trust the Holy Spirit! Have faith in God! His arm is not too short or weak to save you. God is mighty! He is powerful beyond what our feeble human minds can imagine or understand! Be strengthened and refined through you fiery trials. That's what they're meant for. God has it all under control! HAVE FAITH!!!

God Bless

Let Nothing Stop You From Spreading God's Word

All too often, especially in this day and age, the Children of God shrink back from spreading the gospel. Either out of fear, timidity, lack of time or some just don't. But at the end of the day there is no excuse. One should never let anything stop them from spreading the word of God, it is our mission, that is our purpose.

We who are the children of God are called Christians (Little Christs); now how be it of us to take that title and not live up to it. To be called a Christian is so much more than what we realize. Being called a Christian is not just some title that people came up with to identify a group of people; a Christian is a person who immolates Christ in every way. They walk like Him, talk like Him, speak like Him, think like Him and much more. So it's really an insult to God to call yourself a Christian if you do none of those things of which He asks you to do.

God didn't put His children in the earth just to see if they could make it in a rough world, throw us down a couple of blessings and then if we do right we can come home, that is not the case. God put us in the earth to take authority over it and to lead as many people to Christ as we possibly can under the unction of the Holy Spirit. With every breath and step we take we are to be establishing God's Kingdom further in the earth, that's what we're here for, that's our purpose. The Body of Christ has gotten so far away from their true identity it's no wonder we're being attacked on every end and can't get up for getting knocked down; it's because we've lost our true genetic make up. We are to be spreaders of the gospel! Not weak minded, sin filled, backsliden, narcissistic heathens, who can't get right before God. That's not what God called us to be in His Kingdom.

We are to be fire filled, Holy Ghost filled, tongue talking, sanctified,  redeemed, blood washed, warriors and spreaders of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Get that "It's all about me!" notion out of your head, it is not about you, it's about Jesus, it's about the Kingdom of God! Yes! God loves you very much so and desires for you to prosper but you aren't the center, humanity is not the center, Jesus Christ is! The day it will become all about you is when you die on the cross for sins and guess what, you can't accomplish that in your wildest dreams and it has already been done by one far greater than you.

We need more people like the Prophets and Apostles of old. We need some more Paul's, Peter's and John the Baptist, who were real men of God, not a bunch or wretched wannabe's like that of which are claiming to be apart of the Body of Christ today but are really nothing but a bunch of illegitimate children. Paul, was dragged out of a city, stoned to death, got back up and went into the next city to continue preaching. Peter, in Acts 14, was preaching along with Barnabas and they were constantly being persecuted, but did they stop? No! They kept on preaching, Acts 14:6-7 "But they found out about it and fled to the Lycaonian cities of Lystra and Derbe and to the surrounding country, where they continued to preach the good  news." And John the Baptist, who was the voice crying in the wilderness and preached, even to King Herod, telling him of his wrong doings to his face, even though King Herod could take his life but that didn't stop him. So what's stopping you?

Stop being so weak minded, feeble and self centered. Focus on the Kingdom, that's our duty and what a wonderful and beautiful one it is. God called you to be holy and He's given you the ability to do so! So walk in it and let nothing stop you from spreading God's word.

God Bless!

At the Feet of Jesus

JEHOVAH SHALOM REIGNS! HE IS OUR PRINCE OF PEACE!

In a world full of all sorts of debauchery, we in the Body of Christ, should just take the time out of our busy daily lives and just say, "Jehovah God! I thank you that in the midst of chaos, you keep my life in order! I thank you that you are my Lord and my Savior and that because of your sacrifice I live! All glory, praise and honor I freely give unto you my sweet Jesus! I love you with every fiber of my being! You reign! You rule! You are Jehovah Shalom! My Prince of Peace!"

We are in some tumultuous times. We have wars and rumors of wars, murder, perversion, sinfulness, idolatry and many other disasters among us, but we have to remember that no matter where we are, our Father desires peace for us.

There are so very many hurting and ailing people in the world today. We have those among us, un-saved and even the saved who are searching for peace, but can't find it. Some go to counseling, can't find it their, some go to their family, can't really find it their, some go to their friends and still can't even find it their. Some among us turn to worse things to fill this void, using that which God abhors to bring themselves some sort of pleasure; things such as pornography, idolatry and the like.

I say to my self, "Oh Lord my God in Heaven! If only people  knew how truly easy it was to have peace!" All you have to do is fall on your knees and cry out the name of Jesus! If only people knew, that He was there to answer the call, a lot of those who are lost and broken hearted would find rest and peace for their weary and worn out souls.

It's time for the Church and for the lost, to come to the end of themselves and say enough is enough, and seek peace, while it can be found! Seek Jesus! He who is Jehovah Shalom, the Prince of Peace! He's all you need! You don't have to resort to people who'll turn their back on you! You don't have to resort to worldly abominations that bring you a false since of pleasure and peace but only bring you trouble and grief! All you've got to do is go to Jesus! He's waiting for you!

God is calling His lost sheep home! Saying, "Come to me! And I will give your tired soul and your weary mind abundant peace! Peace that never leaves! Peace that never dies! Peace that is everlasting even in hard times!" So what are you waiting for? Let go! Let go of that which hinders you from a peace filled life with the presence of the magnificent Jesus in your life and run to Him! Nothing Can Stop God From Saving You

1 Samuel 14:6 "Nothing can hinder God from saving, whether by many or by few."

You think God can't save you? You think you're too far gone for God to rescue you? You think you're to deep in sin for God to reach you? Wrong! You haven't done anything big enough and bad enough for God to not save you or leave you in the midst of your mess!

We all in our spiritual walk with God have been at a point where we thought that the arm of the Lord couldn't reach us. We felt like nothing and not worthy of the goodness of the Lord! My my, how wrong we are when we think this way!

You see, the devil has access to the humans mind and if he can seep in and begin to get you to believe that God doesn't love you or that God won't save you, then he has you right where he wants you, fooled and deceived! The devil roams about searching for who he can devour. Our Father said that the just shall live by faith; so why are you living by what you feel? So whose report are you going to believe? The devil's (whose a liar)? Or God's? Who came down to this very earth to save you? It makes all the sense in the world to me to just trust God! I pray you will come to that realization also.

There are some out there who refuse to be biblically encouraged. Don't be that person! Believe God! Believe in His word and trust Him! People act as though they have something to lose if they believe in God's word! Not the case!

Nothing can stop God from saving you!

Romans 8:31-39"What,then,shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all-how will He not also, along with Him,graciously gives us all thngs? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is  he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died- more than that, who was raised to life- is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered." No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

So the next time you feel as though God can't save you, rebuke the devil, tell him where he can go, flee to Jesus and get the word of God!

You're going to make it! Just believe and trust in Him!

God Bless!

Always Be on Guard

Don't get so caught up in the cares of the world that you forget what Kingdom you are in. The very armor God has given us prophesies a battle. It's when we're standing on top of our Goliath that we are most vulnerable. Due to our forgetfulness and unawareness, we are knocked off the top of the  mountain before we can even begin to prepare our weapons for battle. In the Body of Christ we need to always be on guard. In case you've forgotten, there is a devil loose.

In my walk with God, it has always amazed me how at one moment, we could be at the highest of heights and the next moment, all of a sudden, be in the darkest depths. And the Lord taught me that this was due to us not being on guard. We are to be prepared in the Body of Christ for battle at any moment. Not saying that we have to be tense and uptight, unable to unwind but more so aware and ready. Never putting our weapons down and never turning our backs on the enemy, meaning, not forgetting that he is around and that he is out to destroy.

When we are at those spiritual heights and have just overcome and came out of the fiery trial, we tend to be a bit lax and comfortable in our new position. It's amazing how quickly we forget that they pathway we're on is an unpredictable one and that the enemy lurks around some of the bends and corners. It's in those times where our heads are so far in the clouds that the devil launches his next attack and then all of the sudden, we're knocked off of our spiritual precipice, falling down to the depths of the valley, all the while trying to get our weapons ready, that should have been out and prepared in the first place. All I can say is thank God for Jesus Christ, without Him we would have no one to break that fall.

Don't wait until the battle is in full bloom to get prepared and get your weapons ready, no! Have them ready and in hand ahead of time, because it's when you least expect that, that old serpent, the choir boy, likes to show up and throw you into a spiritual tailspin. So get the armor of God out and put it on (for some of us, it's been a while and it may need a little dusting off lol!). Get the weapons of God out and have them prepared in  hand. The helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God and the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the fiery darts of the enemy. And don't forget, most importantly, the name of Jesus. Without Him you'll lose every battle and at the name of Jesus Christ spoken in faith, believing that He'll hear and answer the call, no demon can stand around.

Saints! March forward in God's remnant army and always be on guard!

God Bless!

Short Thought #34: One on One with God

We are to have a one on one relationship with God. We are to yield to Him, in order to come to know Him as Abba, Father. God is not just sitting up there in Heaven on His Throne waiting for you to make a mistake so He can condemn you, absolutely not! God is on His Throne, desiring for His creation, His children, to come to Him and love Him as He loves us. He doesn’t want you on earth feeling all alone. He wants to walk with you, He wants to lead you and guide you. You don’t have to do anything but yield to Him, in order to be brought into this beautiful relationship with God. It’s worth it! It’s more than worth it! The life that God has in store for you is beyond your wildest dreams. So what are you waiting for? Enter in to God’s goodness, let Him reveal Himself to you! You’ll be so glad you did!

Short Thought #33: You Can't Save Yourself

You cannot by any means save yourself. If that was the case then Jesus would have never had to go to the cross. Stop trying to save yourself! It is an impossible undertaking. Instead go to Jesus! The sinful nature of man can only be cleansed by the life giving, redemptive blood of Jesus Christ! Then and only then will you be made whole and Holy in the eyes of God the Father. It is not by works, your righteousness is of filthy rags. You can never do enough for God to say, “Okay, they don’t need the blood of Jesus. They've done enough good.” It does not work like that, it is by faith and faith alone in Jesus Christ for your eternal salvation. God does not have a balance on which He weighs your sins and your righteous acts of goodness on. If you think it’s that way, you are wrong and are in dire need of revelation from God. Only by the sanctifying blood of Jesus Christ can you be saved and set free. So if you want freedom, go ahead and yield! Your Savior is waiting for you. God Bless!

Short Thought #32: Watch Your Mouth

We all really need to think before we speak. God said that we hold the power of life and death in our tongues (Proverbs 18:21). It greatly baffles me when I see people in deep wonderment as to why their lives are in constant turmoil. Well quite naturally, it is that way because that’s how you say it is. When you speak negativity your reap negativity. Watch your mouth! If you constantly say, “The bad things always happen to me! I can’t get ahead! I don’t have any money! I don’t have any friends! I can’t do this! I can’t do that! Woe is me!” Then yeah! Duh! Your life is going to remain that way and be a constant reflection of the very words you speak. You can’t speak cursed words and expect to have a blessed life. It doesn’t work that way. Instead get your words in line with God’s words, in order that His glory be manifested in your life. You have the ability to see your situation turn around; all you have to do is change your vocabulary and your outlook! Decree victory! Not destruction. God Bless!

Short Thought #31: Your Harvest

Just because you have not received a harvest from your seed just yet, does not mean that it’s not on it’s way. Remember your seed is in the ground for the times when you need it most. God doesn't give it to you all at once because you don’t need it all at once. There is great power in your seed. Just think about it. What if God gave it to you all at once? And then when hard times come, where you just barely have anything to sow, what will you do? Where will you go from there? I believe that a lot of people fail to realize that their seed is a weapon. If they truly knew the power that is in a seed, giving would for sure increase. So go ahead and sow your seed, but in good soil, and see what God desires to bring forth in your life. God Bless!

Short Thought #30: Why are we Losing

God called us to be strong warriors in the Body of Christ. Tearing down the Kingdom of darkness with every breathe and step we take. Taking up the dominion that God has given us in the earth. Breaking down the demonic strongholds that try to take root in our lives. So why are we losing? Because we aren’t united. Think about it? What army has ever won the battle when they were in separated from each other? None! They won the battle because they were all together as one; with the same strategic plan and the same desires. We are God’s remnant army in the Body of Christ. The reason we aren't winning is because we aren't united. We are separated in our pursuits, our plans and our longings. We have some in Christ just looking for a blessing. There are some still living some of the most sinful lives you can imagine. There are some wolves in sheep's clothing. There are some who really have no clue about God. There are hypocrites and liars among us. There are those who are afraid to take any kind of stand and at the slightest hint of a battle they tuck tail, runaway and hide. There are those who are selfish instead of selfless. There are those who point out others problems, like they achieved righteousness all on there own. And the list can go on and on. This is truly a crying shame! And we all sit back and wonder why the world points their fingers and laughs at Christians. If I didn't have the good sense God gave me then I would be laughing to. The majority of us in the Body of Christ make a mockery of our Father’s name. It’s time for us to grow up and shape up! You want to win the battle? Then lets shake off the chains and unite as one. Only then will we see what God has truly called the Body of Christ to be in the earth.

Earnestly Pray

"So Peter was kept in prsion, but the Church was earnestly praying to God for Him."
Acts 12:5

All too often things fall out of order beacause we fail to pray. Our prayer in the Body of Christ, is a means of communication with God, but is also a very powerful weapon (James 5:16 "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective.").

Often times people fail to pray because they forget, let the things of the day get in their way, don't know how or they just simply don't and feel as though praying is void, something of old. One should never let anything get in their way of having a relationship with God. Our Spirit needs that one on one time with God. When it's no one but you and Him alone; in a place where you feel His magnificent and tangible presence. Always seek Him! Constantly!

And praying isn't anything hard to do. All you have to do is get down on your knees and call upon the name of Jesus; with faith believing that everything you say, God hears every word and has the answer and you can bet your last dollar that He does. God will never let those who believe upon His name be put to shame.

Allow me to share with you a tidbit of my experience of praying to God.

I didn't always pray earnestly and constantly. Even when I first got redeemed, I was so immature in Christ that I thought praying was just saying the Lord's prayer and calling it a day but the Holy Spirit taught me in such a beautiful day that it is so much more than that. It began this way; my Pastor began to preach on the power of prayer and began to teach us what prayer was. Of course I was so intrigued by his teachings and I asked God to teach me how to put to use, what He was saying through my Pastor. It was then when I began to just feel this sort of tug on my spirit, a yearning just to get alone and talk with God; and not at just set points of the day but randomly throughout the day. So I would get in a special, quiet place, designated just for prayer and began to just talk to God and by the time I got finished, 2 or 3 hours had passed. It's the most beautiful experience and it does my soul and my spirit much good.

Now i'm not sharing with you my experience to just be like, "Hey! Look at me! I pray a lot!" Absolutely not! All boasting I do shall always be in the Lord. But I'm telling you this because I want those who read this to test the waters themselves, because it's weighing heavily on my spirit to tell my brothers and sisters in Christ to pray. I truly believe in my heart and with every fiber of my being that God is so yearning and desiring for His children to return to Him through prayer; to be strenghtened in His presence and to be refined like gold. God wants to talk to you! Believe it! He does!

And not only does He want to speak and spend time with you but He also wants you to use your prayers as a weapon; a weapon against sin and a weapon against the enemey. The devil can't stay around when the name of Jesus is spoken or even cryed out, as we do at times. So pray! Believe that God hears everything you say! He does!

We need to be like the Church in Acts 12, because of that prayer, Peter was supernaturally freed from prison. Can you imagine what might have taken place if they hadn't prayed? Miraculous miracles were not just supposed to end when the last pages of the Bible was written, no way. It should still be happening today, but we the Church, the Body of Christ, have lost one of our main defenses in the Body of Christ, praying!

You want to hear the voice of God? Pray! You want to see miracles, signs and wonders? Pray! You want to see the heavens open on your behalf? Pray! You want God to move in your situation? Pray! You need healing? Pray! You need deliverance? Pray! You need a breakthrough? Pray! You want to feel God's tangible presence? Pray!

I know we get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the day but no matter what you're doing, even if it's just once a day for 10 minutes, get into the presence of God. Jesus is waiting just for you.

God Bless!

Short Thought #29: Never Hold God as Common

The moment you begin to hold God as common, is the moment that He will leave you. God is not common. He is supernatural, magnificent and extraordinary! Powerful beyond your wildest dreams. Your walk with God should be something new every day because there are just that many facets of God. He is so deep, He is eternal. The life you lead with God should be something indescribable. If it’s not, then something is wrong on your end, not His. Never hold the things of God as common. Everyone doesn't get to experience the things that we in the Body of Christ get to experience. Be thankful and be grateful. We aren't worthy to see the glory of God but He has chosen us anyway. He seen something different in you and you should see the same in Him as He is the omnipotent one. The wonderful manifestations that the Holy Spirit reveals to us and allows us to see, we should never hold as common place or shrug it off, we should treat it with the highest regard. God Bless!

Short Thoughts #28: Power in Your Seed

If people really understood the power that is in their seed and how God moves and works, then they would give much more often. You want signs, miracles and wonders in your life? Then you must give. In God’s Kingdom, you give in order to receive. God didn’t tell you to give tithes and offerings because He needs the money, no! He told you to give because He knew what would be released in your life when you did. God even tells you to test Him and see what He will do when you give ( Malachi 3:10-11). So why haven’t you done it? You’ve got nothing to lose! God Bless!

Short Thought #27: Accountability

People always want to point the finger at the preacher but what people often fail to realize is that we all in the Body of Christ are to be held accountable for our actions too, not just the person who holds one of the higher offices, so to speak. God has called each and every one of us to the heavenly, as we have yielded our lives to Him. This means that you now have a divine mandate over your life. When the head hurts, the foot hurts, and vice versa, so on and so forth. We are all to be held accountable for our actions; so be sure when you point the finger that you are doing what God assigned for you to do in the Body of Christ.

Short Thought #26: Heaven and Hell

Don’t be deceived. There is a Heaven and there is a Hell. No matter how much you try and push it to the back or completely out of your mind, you can’t escape it, it is reality. There has been a serious decline in preaching on Heaven and Hell, which baffles me beyond belief. If you say you believe in God, then you must also believe that there is a devil. No matter how much society may scream you only live once, there is the reality of eternal life. You will live forever, but the question is where? The good news is that you have a choice in the matter. God sets before you, life and death, blessing and cursing, and He goes even further to tell you to choose life. The choice is yours. Heaven or Hell? Life or death? Eternal life or eternal damnation? Heaven where you will be happily rejoicing in the presence of God? Or Hell, where you will be under the unrestrained wrath of God, not for a day, a month or a year but for all eternity? There is nothing on this Earth worth not having eternal life. Let nothing and no one come in between you and God Almighty. The choice is yours. I urge you to choose life! You’ll be glad you did! You have nothing to lose and all to gain! God Bless!

Short Thought #25: Defeating the Enemy

You can thwart the attacks of the enemy with the Word of God. But if you don’t know the word of God, you will lose every time. For example, in Luke 4, where Jesus was tempted by the devil; He didn’t use head knowledge to try and defeat the devil, He used the word of God. You can’t outwit the devil on your own, you’ll fail every time. If Jesus, the Son of God, defeated the devil with the Word of God then you should do the same. By saying, “it is written…” and then proclaiming the word of the Lord, the devil has no choice but to depart from you. There is great power in the Word of God, it is a weapon and God gave it to you for a reason. Learn it! Use it! God Bless.

Short Thought #24: Thank God

Too many times we often forget to thank God for what He has done. It doesn’t take much for you to take some time out of your day, get alone in the presence of God Almighty and just thank Him for all He has brought you to, through and what He’s going to do. And don’t just thank God for things, also just thank Him for who He is, most importantly. God is just wonderful (Understatement lol!)! Let’s just all thank Him for His over abundant goodness! It doesn’t matter if you’re at school, at work, the library, if you feel it in your spirit, start to thank God! Don’t worry about who’s watching. For He is worthy, more than worthy, of all the worship, praise and honor we can give Him!

Short Thought #23: Do You Remember

Do you remember your life without Christ? Do you remember being depressed, down in the dumps and sinking in sin? Do you remember that Jesus Christ came along and by the power of the Holy Spirit, He pulled your soul out of  the grasp of the claws of Satan, dusted you off, put you in a white robe and presented you to the Father, where the Holy Spirit un-calloused your heart so that you would be able to yield to Jesus and Him to receive eternal life? Do you remember? If you don’t, then you should. Don’t ever forget where God brought you from; because the moment you forget, you can end up right back where you were, hopeless and in despair. Be sure to always give God the glory for what He has done for you and realize that if it had not been for His redeeming and loving grace you would still be lost. Don’t walk around high and mighty and arrogant either. Like you achieved righteousness all on your own. You couldn’t do it yourself, that’s why Jesus Christ came on the scene. You were just the same as everyone else, so take your nose out the air, be humble and remember!

Short Thought #22: Your Seed

If you’re wondering why you haven’t received a harvest off of your seed yet it is probably because you haven’t planted it in the right place or watered it. Just like your seed needs to be planted in good soil, it needs to be watered as well, in order to grow. Think about it in the natural with a seed. When you plant the seed, you plant it in good soil; you make sure it gets the sunlight that it needs and you water it daily. Planting your seed in the spirit should be no different. When you give your tithe, be sure you’re giving it to the right ministry, every Church is not doing the work of God, don’t be fooled or deceived. It makes no sense to just go drop your tithe off at any ol’ place and think that God is going to bless you, it doesn’t work like that. God is the light, His divine favor will shine down upon your tithe when you give it and He will also rebuke the devourer (the devil) from it (Malachi 3:11); and you water your seed with your faith. Just like with a plant seed, if there is no water, it won’t grow. It’s the same with your tithe, if you have no faith, you won’t reap your harvest; you have to believe that you have received before what your believing for is in your hand. So make sure you are giving to the right ministry and also be sure when you give, that you give cheerfully with faith attached to it. God Bless!

Short Thought #21: Watch Your Ways

A lot of times people think when they are on top and everything is going good that, that’s where they will be forever, wrong! Just like being in the valley doesn’t last always, neither does being on top of the mountain. So when you get up there don’t get all high and mighty, remember where God brought you from and be humble. And don’t treat those around you who may not be in the greatest position with disdain. What goes around comes around. Realize that you may be on the mountain for only a short period of time. Be gracious and be kind. You never know; those same people who you treat poorly now may be the same people you need when you are back down in the valley.

Short Thought #20: Under the Protection of God Almighty

As God’s Children we are under divine protection. We are sealed with the Holy Spirit, we are washed in the blood of Jesus and we serve Him, we are the Children of the Almighty God and He has His mighty right hand over our lives, He has given the heavenly angels charge over us, Jesus is responsible for us, God’s grace surrounds us like a shield, He protects us and surrounds us with songs of deliverance, we walk in goodness and mercy and are suited in God’s full armor, well equipped for battle. So with all this going for us in God’s Kingdom, one would think that the devil would back off right? Nope! You can forget about it. He’s going to try and take you down, that’s what he does. But don’t fear, he’s already defeated! Remember your Father said that the battle is His and not yours. You don’t have to do anything but stand under the protection of God and let your Abba handle the rest. The devil can’t defeat God, so you have nothing to fear. But be on guard at all times, the devil roams about seeking whom he can devour, God didn’t give you His armor for nothing.

Short Thought #19: Wondering What's Wrong?

If for whatever reason you are not experiencing abundance in your life then you have to look at yourself. There’s something you’re doing wrong, not God, He does what He’s supposed to do and the rest is up to you. So don’t be confused if you’re struggling, it’s all on you. The reason you don’t have abundance yet is because you’re not ready for it. God’s not going to give you anything you aren’t ready for and as His child you have to learn and come to understand that. God has a plan and an appointed time for everything. He’s not going to act out of season just because you want your blessing or miracle right now. When God blesses you He is looking to establish His Kingdom in the earth through you. This is not an easy task for you to do, so you have to be prepared. God is not about to risk giving you an early blessing when you are unprepared to deal with it in the proper manner; by doing this His plan would fail and that isn’t about to happen. Trust God!  He is wise beyond what our feeble minds can even begin to sum up! Let Him prepare you. You’ll get your blessing in due time but only when you’re ready for it.

Short Thought #18: Abundance

We serve a God of great Abundance. He desires for you to prosper in all aspects of your life, not just some. And God does desire for you to live comfortably, He richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment ( 1 Timothy 6:17 "Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment."). But what we should always remember is to not be greedy. Greed is not a characteristic of a child of God. When God gives you abundant blessings they aren’t just meant for you to hoard up all for yourself; it is meant to be put to use in further establishing God’s Kingdom in the earth. So open up your storehouses and get moving. There is a field to be harvested.

Short Thought #17: Witnessing

Why are people afraid of witnessing? Are you ashamed of your faith in Jesus? Because you most certainly should not be. Jesus is the Son of God and He came down from the riches and glory of Heaven, took off His glorious splendor and dressed Himself in your rags to take on your sins and be the scorn of many men. He died an unjust death on the cross, though He did not one thing wrong in hopes that He might gain you and your ashamed of Him? You’re afraid to talk about Him? You’re afraid to tell the lost, wretched and damned about Jesus? Now what if He was ashamed of you? Tables would turn now wouldn’t they? Don’t ever shrink back from professing your faith. Who cares what these people on this earth have to say. You can’t be in God’s Kingdom and be a people pleaser. You aren’t here to win friends and gain influence. You are here to be a beacon of light for God’s glory, further establishing His Kingdom in the Earth. When it’s time to talk about Jesus, let people have it and don’t hold back; He didn’t hold back from you, so be sure to always give Him your all.

Short Thought #16: Going To War

Why are people afraid of the devil? Don’t they know that he is a defeated foe? You aren’t supposed to be getting ran around by him, you are supposed to be running him around! God gave us dominion and authority in this earth. The devil shouldn’t even be able to move without your consent. So why do we have so many people cowering in fear of him? Don’t you know who your Father is? Your Father is Lord over all, including the devil and you are under God’s will, with the blood of Jesus covering your life; you don’t have to be afraid of Satan. Remember you have the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions. Rebuke Satan in the name of Jesus Christ and tell him where he can go; straight to hell with all the rest of his demons, devils and followers! It’s time that we in the Body of Christ take hold of the authority God has given us in the earth. Stop running around living your life in fear! You are a child of the Almighty and everlasting God, nothing can stop Him and His mighty right hand is over your life, so nothing can stop you! Don't be afraid! Fight! It's time to go to war!

Short Thought #15: The Wrong Exchange

There are many Esau’s in today’s generation. Willing to do anything up to the selling of their very souls to satisfy their worldly desires which destines them for lives of being continually hungry. Never fulfilled when they have more than enough. Greed will get you every time and eventually lead you to a place of never ending pain. There is great price to pay when you make a bad exchange, the wrong exchange. So watch yourself, you can sell your soul many different ways.

Short Thought #14: Under Subjection

When we enter the Kingdom of God our souls are changed; it is placed in the hands of God, it is repented, which means it is turned toward God. Now with that comes some changes involving our conduct. We are to make sure our thoughts, actions and emotions are all in tune with God. We are to keep are conduct in check, behaving as one who has been pulled out of the lost world and into God’s Kingdom. We are to walk as beacons of light for God Almighty, being clean Temples for the Holy Spirit to abide in. But remember the Holy Spirit can’t dwell in an unclean temple. And also, we will be tempted and tested. Therefore we are to constantly keep our mind, emotions and flesh under subjection. Bringing them under authority and to the obedience of Christ. The 3 areas of our soul are the mind, will and emotions and God expects us to subdue them all, that’s our job. God is not about to make you do anything, you make you do what it is that God requires of you. Don’t let your mind, will and emotions get the best of you, you get the best of it. You are in control!

Short Thought #13: We Have a Responsibility

People in the Body of Christ tend to hold no accountability for their actions. When they slip up and make a mistake, some say, “The devil made me do it” or they make an excuse for it saying, “Well I’m only human” or “God knows my heart.” I get so tired of hearing all those lame excuses! First off, you give the devil way too much credit! When you make a mistake and black slide, it was an act of your own will! It started off with a thought, which led to an imagination and that imagination led you to fantasize and that fantasy turned into an action, and the action was a sinful one! The devil didn’t do it, you did! Look in the mirror! You have no one else to point the finger at except yourself! Next the infamous, “Well I’m only human” excuse, while it is true, guess what? SO WAS JESUS! He was an example for us, He was a second Adam. Showing us who we are truly supposed to be as Children of God and He was tempted and tested just like we are everyday. The difference is, He walked in authority and refused to fall into temptation and you have that same authority; given to you from God because of the sacrifice of Jesus (Luke 10:19 "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you."), so you have no excuse. The third excuse, “God knows my heart” again true! Jesus said the heart of man is evil; Mark 7:21"For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery..."; Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things & beyond cure. Who can understand it?"; Matthew 15:19 "For out of the heart come evil thoughts..."So don’t pretend as though your heart was in the right place and something just happened, when in all reality it is your heart that got you into the trouble your in, in the first place! It’s time for all of us to man/woman up in the Body of Christ and be held accountable for our own actions and stop pointing the finger! We have a responsibility. The grace God has placed us under has called us into a higher standard. Righteousness is what God does, Holiness is what we do. God deals with our character and we deal with our conduct. God gave you all the tools you need to fight and overcome temptation, USE THEM!

Be One in Heart and One in Mind

In the Body of Christ, we should all be on in heart and one in mind. A major reason why we fail at many of the things we try to take on in Christ at times is because we are apart, there is no unity. Alone you are a voice, but together we are a force. Yes, there will be a time where each of us may have to stand alone like John and be one crying in the wilderness but whenever we are able, with those around us, we should come together as one. Together we could do amazing things in God's Kingdom, to further establish it in the Earth! We are much mightier than we think we are! 2 Corinthians 10:4-5"The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."

It's time as the Children of God, that we suit up, pick up our spiritual weapons and march forward in God 's remnant army, His ecclesia. There so much to be done in God's Kingdom, more than we realize and it's time we come together as one, being on one accord and get some work done; there is plenty to do, Luke 10:2-3 He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the Harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field. Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves."

Get in agreement with someone around you, as many people as you possibly can, Matthew 18:19-20"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in Heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Together your faith can subdue Kingdoms and bring down spiritual wickedness in high places.

When we come together in the Body of Christ, being one in heart and one in mind, there isn't anything that can stop us; especially since we are going out in the name of Jesus, for the glory of God the Father. It's like the believers when they first came together in the Book of Acts, they were all one accord and as I'm sure you've read, they did some mighty things, Acts 4:32"All believers were one in heart and mind." You think what God did through them could only be done back then, no! It can be done today! If only we would come together and believe in faith, in agreement with one another, being united as one! So get together with some fellow warriors in Christ who are around you and get moving in God's Kingdom!

God Bless!

Short Thought #12: Exchange

When we come to God and yield to Him we exchange what’s in our hand for what is in His hand. Whatever you are trying to hold on to, let go of it! There’s nothing that you have now that is greater than anything that God is going to give you in your future. What God has in His hand for you is far more greater in value. Let go and let God!

Short Thought #11: Praising

It has always greatly baffled me when I see people staring at people who are worshipping at Church. As I worship the Lord at Church, I glance around because it’s a joyous occasion to see fellow brothers and sisters in Christ worshipping but every now and then I will see someone or some people just sitting back staring and watching. I don’t understand it. When it’s time to worship my Father I can’t help but get on my feet and dance, because I think about all He brought me through, who He is to me, all the love I have in my heart for my Abba and all He’s going to do for me. Then I see people just looking and questions begin to pop in my mind; like, Why are they sitting? Do they not love God enough to dance for Him? Are they saved? Do they know the true goodness of Jesus? Do they feel like they don’t have to praise Him? Are they embarrassed to praise Him in front of people? Do they feel as though they have all of God they need? Do they have a real revelation of what praise really is or do they feel like it’s just like any other form of dancing? I know that’s a lot of questions but it is honestly what I contemplate when I see this taking place. All I can say to end this short thought is that I hope that those who don’t praise get a praise in their heart soon! Our Praise is a weapon! If you don’t have a praise then you are lacking a very vital weapon! Get up and get your shout on! Don't let your feelings, situation, surroundings or the opinions of people keep you from praising God! God desires to hear your voice shouting unto Him with the multitude! So go ahead! Worship and praise Him! Don't be afraid!

Don't Give to the Lord What Cost You Nothing

When God smote His Son on the cross, He paid the highest price for you. He Himself purchased salvation for you, a place in Heaven, eternal life with the Father! He didn't send a representative, He came Himself. He gave of Himself in hopes that He would gain you. He left all the riches and glory of Heaven, put on your filthy rags, went to the cross and died for you. His pure and innocent blood was shed for you. God had to turn His back on His one and only Son, so you could be set free. He gave what cost Him the most, so in return you should do the same.

We give to God in more ways than one. Yes, we give Him tithes and offerings, but we give Him our lives as well. In everything you do in life, your actions, what you say, what you give, how you treat others and how you treat yourself, should be a tribute and sacrifice to what the Lord has done for you. Everything you do in life should glorify God, not defy Him! Your life should be given to Him daily, not just on Sunday's. Don't be careless in your giving to God.

Don't offer up to God, a half way praise, an almost shout! That doesn't cost you anything. Be like David! Who worshiped the Lord with all his might, to the point where those around him were ashamed and embarrassed. When you offer up praise and worship to God, go all out! Like there is no one in the room but you and Him. He rejoices over you with singing, Zephaniah 3:17 "The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." So give God as song from the heart! Don't sing unto Him a song that is meaningless to you! Give Him all the glory that He more than rightfully deserves!

When God sets a task before you, don't half way do it. Do it to completion and with the best of your ability.  There is no half stepping in God's Kingdom, He will not accept an almost from you. Almost doesn't count. Jesus didn't half way or almost do anything when He was sent into this earth for you, He did and gave His very best! He gave all of Himself! You give God your best effort in everything He sets before you; leaving no task undone, giving it all you got.

When giving an offering to the Lord, give your very best. Don't give Him anything that cost you nothing at all and expect a return. Your tithes and offering is an expression of your faith. Even if it's $1, it should be a sacrifice. If it doesn't cost you anything, then it doesn't mean anything to God. He showed you by giving you His Son how much you meant to Him and you should always be prepared to do the same.

Give the very best to God in every aspect of your life. He gave you and still does give you His very best, His utmost and you are to do the same. Don't be careless with the things of God. Your sacrifice, whether it be monetary or in some other area of your life, may it be your very best! Don't give to God what cost you nothing at all!

2 Samuel 24:24 "No, I insist on paying you for it. I will not sacrifice to the Lord my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing."

God Bless!

Short Thought #10: Give

We are to give. Luke 6:38 "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." And don't be confused. God isn't telling you to give because He needs your money, no! It's His money really to begin with; but it is used as a measure of your faith in Him. When you sacrifice what is sacred to you and give, it shows God that you have faith and trust in Him and that you believe His Word. And actions speak louder than words; John 14:23"If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching." You want God move? Then give! In God’s Kingdom you have to give to get. Think about it. God didn't get you for free; He had to pay the ultimate price for you, His Son. So why on Earth do you think you should get all of God and all that God has for you at no cost at all? So give and have faith! God will make sure you receive a return. His Word is true. And when you receive that return you will be glad that you gave. Believe and trust in Him!

Short Thought #9: You Can't Outthink God

When you begin to try and plan out every detail of your life and outguess God, He laughs! Stop trying to outguess God it will never work, you will fail every time. Just when you begin to think God is doing one thing, He will surprise you with something else completely. God is not one dimensional; there are many facets of Him. He is so deep, He is eternal and He is in control of everything, your life included. God has surprises, miracles and wonders for your life on this path of righteousness; so don’t try and plan everything out, it’s not going to happen the way you think. You serve a big big God and He’s got some things in store for you that you couldn’t even begin to dream up. Trust Him!

Pray For One Another

Sometime things go wrong because we fail to pray and we fail to pray for one another. If only we all really came together in the Body of Christ and recognized that there is great power in prayer. James 5:16 "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."  This is not just a saying, it's God's Word and it is true! Sometimes when you can't physically do anything for someone, the best thing you can do is pray for them. Our prayer is a very vital weapon in the Body of Christ. It's time we begin to use it.

We all too often fail in praying for one another. How many times do you hear people say,"I'll be praying for you." Quite often, right? Yes. But once that is said, the person usually, not all the time, goes off and forgets to pray for that person. That "I'll be praying for you." is one of the biggest lies we tell in the Body of Christ. And though it may not be intentional it still happens. When you say you'll be in prayer for someone, don't forget, make sure you get in touch with God on that persons behave.

Also, when we begin to pray for one another, God begins to move in whatever area of your life you need help in as well. God rewards those who pray and He rewards greatly. I can testify to that and so can many others. Don't just always focus on yourself in prayer (though that is important) but also remember those who God has placed in your life and on your heart. You never know, you may be the only person praying for them. And when you pray for someone, you don't have to tell everyone about it. Sometimes it's just nice to keep that persons name in your prayers without them even ever knowing.

By failing to pray for one another we sin against God. 1 Samuel 12:23"As for me, far be if from me that I should sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you." It is an obligation that we in the Body of Christ, as God's holy, redeemed children pray for one another. Though God's children are all over the earth, when we begin to pray, it is as if we are altogether on one accord, united as brothers and sisters. Alone we are a voice but together we are a force. So don't just sit on the sidelines by yourself and pray either, join together with a fellow prayer warrior and get into the presence of God. Matthew 18:19-20"Again,I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for,it will be done for you by my Father in Heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."

So pray for one another. People need to be prayed for. A lot of attacks from the enemy could be thwarted if we would only pray.2 Chronicles 7:14-15"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place." Pray and see God move. Pray and watch the heavenly angels move. Pray and see your life turn around. Pray and see miracles take place. Pray and be healed, delivered and set free. Pray always and pray for one another, without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

God Bless!

Short Thought #8: God Is Your Protector

God tells the enemy that he can’t get to you without coming through Him first! So stand up and be fearless! Nothing can touch God! So therefore nothing can touch you! God is alive in you and you are alive in Him! God’s got you covered and protected! He’s got your back! Never fear your Father is near!

Short Thought #7: Provision From God

Provision has already been made for you. God made sure to take care of that when He smote His Son on the cross for you. So if you for one second believe that God doesn’t care for you, doesn’t know your needs and won’t provide for you, then you are sadly mistaken and are in dire need of a new and fresh revelation of God in your life. God is your provider and protector. He is responsible for you and He loves you.

Short Thought #6: God Has A Master Plan

God had a master plan from the beginning; from the very foundations of this world. And  just as sure as He had this master plan from the beginning of time, you can be sure that He included you in those plans. You are not an outcast! You are not forgotten by God! God does have a plan for your life. From the least to the greatest among us. Trust Him!

Peace Be With You!

In a world filled with trials, tribulations, catastrophes and atrocities, it can sometimes be quit difficult for us to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Our vision gets clouded, our minds grow weary and our strength diminishes. But it's in these times where we need to hold on to our faith the most. Knowing, trusting and believing that despite the outlook, our Father has us and everything else under control. We need to go our Savior, the risen King, Jesus Christ and yield to Him. There at the feet of Jesus you will find true peace and the answer to all your needs.

"Peace be with you!"~John 20:19

Jesus is Jehovah Shiloh, the Prince of Peace. His Spirit dwells within you, therefore peace is with you, it is forever with you. You don't have feel scared, alone, afraid or abandoned, God is right there with you and He always will be. When that loathsome feeling of emptiness tries to come upon you, get into the presence of your Father and your strength will be renewed. Peace will begin to fill your heart.

We in the Body of Christ need to come to realize how good we have it. We are the Children of a Mighty God, who has not left us broken and confused. So when the tough times get going and you feel as though you aren't going to make it, stand up and be strong and proclaim peace over your life. Get in agreement with those in your household, don't stay and wallow in the depths of despair. Make your earthly temple and your home a pleasing atmosphere for the heavenly angels and the Holy Spirit to abide in. Walk through the rooms of your home speaking peace into the atmosphere. You'll find that the more you magnify God and the more you speak peace into your life, the more relaxed and mellow you will be and you'll ride through the tough times smoothly. Peace be with you, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ always!

God Bless!

Short Thought #5: God's Calling

When God places the calling over your life to preach, it is not anything that you should take lightly. He has placed you in charge of the flock. You are now a father of the faith. You are the ears of the people. How are the people going to hear if they have no ears? Matthew 11:15 "He who has ears, let him hear."With the office comes great responsibility and accountability, it is nothing to play around with. If no one else, you should always have yourself spiritually in check. You should be in tune with God at all times. Following in the footsteps of Christ. No one wants a backslidden, can’t get it right preacher behind the pulpit and now and days there are a ton of them. How are you going to tell someone something about God but you can’t stand before Him and pull it together yourself? When God calls you, get prepared, you have a great standard to live up to and it won’t be easy. But it is rewarding! There is no greater work to do than to do the work of God.

Short Thought #4: God's Plan For Your Life

God has a well designed plan for you, for your life. All you have to do is have faith! Let Him take over! What God has in store for you is far greater than anything you can imagine! I mean just think about it. It’s God Almighty! The creator of Heaven and Earth! The Father of all creation! In control of the very direction of your life! In 100% control of your future! And you don’t have to do anything but yield to Him, let Him take over and have faith! I don’t know about you but that sound like a great deal to me! Will you trust Him today?

You Are Not Of This World

When you yielded to Christ Jesus, you were irreversibly changed. You were pulled out of the Kingdom of darkness, pulled out of the world and placed in God's Kingdom. You aren't waiting to get to God's Kingdom, you are already in it. You are under the divine covenant of God! It's time you recognize who you are and walk in the authority that God, our Father, gave you. You are only in this world, not of it!

As the children of God we have divine favor over our lives. God has promised us so many things and it's time for us to take hold of them. We don't have to be in this world with sickness and disease, poverty, lack, strife, unable to break habits, running from the devil, when in reality it should be him running from us. God gave us the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and it's time that we recognize who we really are.

When Jesus died on the cross, it was finished! Unto Him be all the glory! Because of His sacrifice every thing is under our feet! Satan is under our feet! You don't have to be afraid of Him! He is a defeated foe! He should be the one afraid of you! He should have no foothold on you! There is no condemnation in God's Kingdom! You aren't of this world! You have been touched and blessed by God Almighty! And what God blesses the devil can't touch.

Since we know that we are only in this world and not of it, then some would question why the children of God go through so many things. Yes! We aren't of this world but God didn't say we would have to go through anything but He did say that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). God gave us His armor for a reason and we are to overcome by the blood of Jesus! You see, trials and tribulations are a test of your faith! So fight, hold on and stay strong because Jesus has overcome the world and because you are in God's Kingdom you will too! Don't stay broken and confused when you were given the divine capability of defeating the adversary!

"I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it." ~ John 17:14-16

You are not of this world. Let go of the things of this world. Let it all go! Send all the curses back to the one it belongs to, the devil! Don't you know who your Father is? He desires for you to flourish and prosper in every aspect of your life. Stop settling! Stop speaking negativity into your life! It's like my Pastor said, "People will talk themselves into a crisis!" and that is so true. You don't have to kneel at the table of the adversary! You aren't in his kingdom! You don't belong to him! Therefore you should not be unable to overcome the things that those who are in his kingdom go through! Give lack back, give strife back, give sickness, disease and poverty back! Those are curses (Deuteronomy 28:15-68)! Again, you are not of this world! Begin to take up the authority God gave you and walk freely as a child of God living under His heavenly grace!

God Bless!

Short Thought #3: Revelation

If you want revelation from God then you have to be prepared for it. It isn’t something that should be taken lightly; God isn’t revealing things to any and everybody. Do a clean sweep of your spirit. Make your Temple a pleasing dwelling place for the Holy Spirit to abide in. Renew the spirit of your mind; keep your conduct in line with Christ! Only then can the Lord begin to come in and implant divine wisdom and knowledge. God isn’t going to give you anything that you can’t handle or that you aren’t prepared for. You want revelation? Prepare yourself and go after it. Get your spirit in anticipation and expectation for receiving a word from God. When God sees that you are ready then He will step in and give it to you but only at the appointed time.

Short Thought #2: Tithing

Whenever you begin to talk about abundance, prosperity and finances people in the Church begin to cringe. Why is that? Are they content with lack? Are they happy with having just a little to get by? Are they okay with financial difficulty? Clearly they are lost and don’t know as much as they think they do about God Almighty. If they did then they would know that, one, poverty is a curse! We shouldn’t be trying to hold on to it! It doesn’t belong to us! Give it back! Give it back to the devil! That’s his and it belongs to those who are under his control! So when a Preacher becomes brave enough and bold enough to preach on the subject matter don’t get all upset about it like he’s trying to steal your money, when 9 times out of 10 he doesn’t need a thing you got, but rather listen and be enlightened. Let poverty go and walk in the abundance that God desires for you to walk in.

Trouble Makers

There are a lot of trouble makers, evil dwellers and backstabbers among us. Every time you look up they have some sort of drama and debauchery going on. There lives are chaotic and out of place. There is no presence of the Almighty God in their lives and they either fail to realize it or just plain old don't care (usually this is the case). When you as a child of God, or someone with at least a little bit of sense, notice this type of behavior and activity going on with someone you know or are close to, get out of the way. Where chaos roams, you'll usually find the devil in the midst of it all.

You see, Jesus brings peace and when His presence is in someone's life you see it, it's clear and evident. And it's even more evident when His presence is not in someone's life. At the slightest sign of this you need to separate yourself. Don't involve yourself with trouble makers! In the end they will turn out to be a snare for you.

People all need to realize now and days that there is truly some company that you just can not keep. That goes for us in the Body of Christ too! Don't get all high and mighty thinking you can walk in the midst of any situation and change it. That's not always the case! Some things are only meant for God Almighty to take on! Leave the trouble makers to their bidding, take a note of it and get in prayer about it. You can't always be a hero in every situation. Let go and let God! He's in control and we all need to recognize that.

Trouble makers have been around since the beginning of time, it is nothing new. That's why when I see people that are shocked by their absurd behavior, I sit back and think to myself, "Wow! Have you been living under a rock?" You should not be surprised! The world we live in today is full of lawlessness, stupidity and backward thinking.

But all the evil mean and troublemakers among David's followers said, "Because they did not go out with us, we will not share with them the plunder we recovered. However, each man may take his wife and children and go." ~ 1 Samuel 30:22

And this is only one example of troublemakers in the Bible, they are plenty more. Again, this isn't anything new. God sees it all and has an answer for it all. Sometimes the best thing and most powerful thing you can do for them, is simply pray for them.

When ignorance is among you, you need to purge it from your sight. Let no vile thing be in your circle. Rid and separate yourself from anyone who leads a life full of unnecessary drama. When you finally relieve yourself of their presence, you'll find that your life will be much more peaceful.

God Bless!

Short Thought #1: Dominion Over the Earth

God Almighty, our Father, gave us dominion over ALL the Earth, not just part of it!

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness. and let him rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." ~ Genesis 1:26

And He has not taken that dominion back! It’s still ours! We have just let go of it. It’s time for us to arise and be who God called us to be in the Earth; taking dominion over what is rightfully ours! Not falling weak to the troubles, trials and tribulations we go through. We are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ! With God all things are possible! We have a purpose as God’s Children in this earth and we must fulfill it.
