Work!!!

We live in a society where everyone wants a hand out, everyone is looking to be given something for nothing.  We have been conditioned to have this idea of self entitlement, that's its all about us and that everyone owes us something. Ummmm, excuse me, since when did the earth begin to revolve around you? On what planet do you live where you can get something for nothing? This is not Burger King and you can have it your way. Jesus is the center and in His Kingdom you are to work. People have lost the notion of what working really is and it's time that we all learn.

When you begin to speak on working people shrink back; people don't want to hear that they have to work for something, that they aren't entitled to something for nothing. We have way too many able bodied and able minded people waiting on a government check or running around to play the lottery to get something for absolutely nothing at all.

The even sadder thing is that people even expect this from God. Since when did God's Kingdom start revolving around you? Since when did God center everything He did around you? Yes, He died for you, that's true, but don't get too arrogant, because though it was for you, it was ultimately for the Kingdom's sake and for the Father so God Almighty could receive back that which is lost. He didn't save you for you, He saved you for Him and for His name's sake. Stop coming before God like He owes you something. We in God's Kingdom are the owners of nothing but the stewards of everything and God expects you to work. God does not want nor desire any lazy children in the Body of Christ and those who fall into this category better get it right or else they will be discarded like dross. Since when did a lazy warrior accomplish anything for God?

A blessing is not about to fall out of Heaven and hit you on top of the head, like an apple falling out of a tree, there are things that God requires from you and one of them is to work. The Holy Bible still says in 2 Thessalonians 3: 10"If a man will not work, he shall not eat." So what are you doing sitting down and laying around all day long, everyday. No one owes you a dime and God for sure doesn't. You want to something? Work for it. It's as simple as that.

And don't get confused, just because you have a job, does not mean that you are working; if you show up late and leave early, that's not working. If you stand around and wait to be told what to do instead of taking it up upon yourself to go the extra mile, that's not working, if you do the bare minimum, if that, then that's not working. Get down on your knees and ask God to give you a spirit of servant hood and to teach you how to work. Get rid of that secular thinking, that you're entitled to something, you're not! You're not entitled to anything. Everything belongs to God and He gives it to whom He pleases. If you want to be the one who receives what God has in His hand, then work, it's that simple.

God Bless!!!

Follow God, Not Man!

We live in a world where the minds of the masses are so easily deluded. We have people flocking to this medium and that medium, to this counselor and that counselor. People sit in front of a television and watch whatever popular orator of the moment, who knows nothing about them, and they eat up every bit of so called knowledge that pours from their mouth; but yet folks wonder why they still have the same problems, maybe it's because you're following and listening to man, instead of God.

In times such as these where peril befalls so many of us each and every day, it is vital to our existence that we cling to our Father and His word. There are so many out there who are giving people false advice and leading people down the wrong path for their own selfish gain. We need to hear the voice of our Shepherd, Jesus Christ, and follow Him and Him alone on the paths that He has prepared for us.

Sometimes people act as though if they follow God they have something to loose and instead turn to man; last time I checked man was a liar, a deceiver and a full of treachery but God is faithful, righteous, omnipotent, mighty, holy and so much more.

Whenever one decides to rely on man instead of God, things 9 times out of 10 go drastically wrong. I've seen it and heard it so many times; people who've gotten guidance from God and know His word but let man talk them out of it and next thing you know, BAM!!!! Their spiritually smacked or physically attacked with something all because they didn't listen to God's instruction.

God didn't tell you to think, He told you to obey. He didn't tell you to follow man, He told you to follow Him. God will never lead you to a place that you'll never make it out of. Now with man, you have to be very careful of who you decided to listen to and befriend, especially in these evil days.

So next time you are feeling indecisive, don't run around to man who more than likely has the wrong answer, run to God. He will lead you and guide you and tell you what it is that you need to do. Trust God, He will never steer you in the wrong direction and He promised you in His word that He would never leave you nor forsake you (Joshua 1:5). So make the choice to day, to from here on out, to stand firm on the promises of God and follow Him and Him alone, not man.

God Bless!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Merry Christmas to everyone! May we all spend time with our family and close friends. Enjoying one another's presence and loving one another. This time of year is one of the best, where merriment and joy seems to spread, like an infection worldwide! Everyone's cheery and upbeat, full of pep, shining and smiling bright with life. With all the bright colored bows, wrapping paper, fluff and expensive gifts, one could easily begin to forget why we rejoice and celebrate this day. Let us remember, especially those in the Body of Christ, for we have received the ultimate gift of Jesus Christ.

This day is not just a day for us to feed our carnal desires for material possessions, but we must truly come to realize that this day is what it is because a Savior was placed into this world. He came to seek, serve, save and surrender. If it were not for Him, you would not be waking up to the smell of delicious food, the sound of laughter and cheer as loved ones open their gifts. If it were not for Him, this day would be just like any other and we wouldn't have this Holy Day.

Let's all remember what this day is truly about and keep the Christ in Christmas, you can give a gift any day but it's not everyday that you can receive a Savior. And on this special day let us call into remembrance, like no other day, what God Almighty has done for us. As we give our gifts to one another, we do so in celebration of the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

This day God's redemption plan began to take full effect, the hearts of man were in the process of being returned to the Father and the souls of man reaped from the bowels of Hell. We ought to thank God for His Son each and everyday, for what He has done, so be sure to do that on this day like you never have before.

And let us say a prayer for those for which nothing has been provided. Though they may not have received something temporal, they do possess something eternal, the love and presence of Jesus Christ and their is no greater gift. May the Holy Spirit's presence be with them and fall upon them heavily as He comforts and quiets them with His love, in Jesus name!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR!!! WE LOVE YOU BLESSED TRINITY!!! WE GIVE YOU ALL THE GLORY ON THIS WONDERFUL DAY!!!

God Bless You Everyone & Merry Christmas!!!

You Can't Interfere With What God Is Doing

God's plan is better than your plan, His thoughts are higher than your thoughts and His ways are higher than your ways. Stop trying to out think God; it is impossible for you to do. Stop trying to plan ahead of God; what God has prepared for you is better than what you have prepared for you, your future is in the hands of God and you can't interfere with what God is doing.

Sometimes we need to learn that we are not in control. It's easier said than done at times to just sit back and relax and let go of life's steering wheel, but that's what God requires of us and that's where faith should enter in. As a child of God, you should always rest assure that God has your life under complete control. You trying to think things out and plan things out will get you no where; there are times when God doesn't want you to know the outcome and that's okay because with God you can trust that everything is going to be alright.

Stepping outside of God's plan will only lead you to trouble. When the children of God step outside of God's plan we are bound to fall into some trouble; we are no longer under the hand of God and are now relying on our own strength to make it. When you go outside of God's plan, interfering with what He is doing, your actions are showing God that you seem to think you can do it all without Him and you don't need His help. Now you may not be doing this intentionally but actions speak louder than words. Some people have a false sense of humility, they think, "Well I won't bother God. I'll just do it myself." That's not being humble, following God's word and staying under His will is being humble.

God requires you to call upon Him whenever you are in need, in good times and in bad; He hasn't left His children to their own devices. If God expected you to do everything on your own then Jesus wouldn't have went to the Cross; God desires for you to lean and depend on Jesus every day of your life. Trust God always and ask Him to let His will be done not yours.

In 1 Kings 12:24 God tells Shemaiah to tell Rehoboam son of Solomon, King of Judah and the whole house of Judah and Benjamin to not fight against their Israelite brothers and that's just what they do. "This is what the Lord says: Do not go up to fight against your brothers the Israelites. Go home, every one of you, for this is my doing." So they obeyed the word of the Lord and went home again, as the Lord had ordered."

You can't interfere with what God is doing and it is in your best interest to let Him lead you and guide you. Don't let your pride get in the way and don't think for one second that you know what God is getting ready to do, because just when you think He's doing one thing, He'll surprise you and shock your shoes off by doing another.

God Bless!

Stop Complaining

God's Kingdom is not a Burger King Kingdom, you can't have it your way. God is going to do as He sees fit and He's going to do as He pleases; it is your job to sit back relax and trust in God and His plan over your life; not cry, whine and complain because what you're going through for a moment may be a bit uncomfortable and unfamiliar. Is God a liar? No! Has God ever left you to your own devices? No! Didn't He promise you that He would never leave you nor forsake you? Yes! So what are you complaining for? Stop it!

Romans 8:18"I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." Yes, the Body of Christ does suffer much, but the majority of us have not suffered unto blood. For example, I hear some Christians complain because they have a bill that needs to be paid and they don't have the money for it, now while that is serious, it's nothing to complain about; don't you know who your Father is? Why are you stressing over a bill? Isn't Jehovah Jireh your provider? What a slap in the face of God; to say He can't deliver such a pint sized blessing as that; God can do that without even lifting His finger. I mean God, our Father, created the Heavens and the Earth and everything in it, do you honestly believe that He can't give you a blessing to pay a bill. Let's get serious and exhibit some real faith in God and stop complaining.

There are people in other countries losing their lives for even mentioning the name of Christ and are truly suffering unto blood, and a lot of us sit back and complain over the slightest hint of adversity. We who are blessed enough to help those who are truly suffering, should rise up and get out of the high chair, take the bib off and put down the baby bottle and work in the harvest field, doing what God has called us to do in His Kingdom.

The power of life and death lies in your tongue, the next time you begin to complain, say, "Stop it! That's enough!" Speak words of life into any and every situation that you face, whether big or small. There is no sense in complaining, especially if you have faith in God and His ability to turn your situation around and in your favor. The amount of complaining you do shows God exactly how much faith you have in Him, and for some, you're showing God that you have no faith in Him at all.

Take a look at the Saints in the early church and all the persecution they had to go through:
Hebrews 11:32-37"And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell you about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets, who through faith conquered Kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. Women received back their dead, raised to life again. Others were tortured and refused to be released, so that they might gain a better resurrection. Some faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison. They were stoned; they were sawed in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated..." And you think what you're going through to is tough? You have no idea what true suffering is. So count your blessings, have faith in God and be patient.

Is our walk with God easy? No. But He gave you His word so you can make it through and have something to stand on. Instead of complaining every time something goes wrong, be quiet and stand on the words of God and have faith; that's all you have to do and that is not too much to ask. Let the complaining cease and let the faith rise.

Remember, there is someone out there whose worse off than you and who would love to be in your shoes.

God Bless

God Is So Faithful

God is so faithful! We may waver and falter, but He never will. We may break our promises, but He never will. We may go back on our word, but God Almighty never will. We may leave Him, but He'll never leave us. Our Father is so faithful and when I even begin to think about His faithfulness I am filled with abundant joy and gladness. What a Great, Glorious, Awesome and Faithful God we have. We ought to rise and lift our hands to the heavens in great thanksgiving and mercy for our Father whenever and wherever we are. Yahweh is wonderful! Yahweh is faithful!

There are times when I've read my Bible and I would just say to myself, "Wow! God is so faithful! These people did all sorts of detestable acts known to mankind, idolatry and all sorts of other abominations; but God is still standing guard over them and still faithful to His word." What a wonder our Abba is! Our Abba, Father is faithful!

There are also times when I think about what if God was like us. We would all be in a world of trouble. As a matter of fact we probably wouldn't even be here, but no, God is so much greater and higher than us, beyond what our feeble minds can imagine. His patience is never ending. He never grows tired or weary with His creation and He loves us to the core! God is faithful!

Think about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All that He suffered in becoming sin itself. How we scorned him and laughed at Him and beat Him and treated Him far worse than the scum of the earth. And to know that God Almighty, the Creator of Heaven and Earth and everything therein, looked upon all of this being done to His one and only Son, and He turned His back to it, so that His word would be fulfilled and that His redemption plan for our souls would take effect. God could have sent a fleet of angels and destroyed each and every one of us, but He didn't, He remained faithful to us and to His word. Jesus Christ, could have said, "No, I'm not doing this! I will not become sin itself and go to the depths of Hell and suffer for these wretched abominations!" But He didn't. He remained faithful and obedient, even obedient to death on the cross! Our God is faithful! Jesus Christ is faithful!

Sometimes when we think about God's faithfulness, we tend be carnally minded instead of spiritually minded, and think about what God has done for us in the natural; helped us pay a bill, helped us go here or there, we wanted something and God gave it to us and that is all great and wonderful but that's not it, that's not even the height of God's faithfulness, that stuff is easy for God to do, He doesn't even have to lift a finger to perform things such as that, that's temporal stuff. God's faithfulness is so much deeper than that. It's time to straighten up an use our spiritual eyes and thank Him for the ultimate things He's done! He's been and will forever be faithful!

And remember, even when you mess up, He's still faithful, He's still there, you'll pay a little price, but God will still be with you and He will still be faithful, so don't fret, God disciplines those He loves! He is faithful!

God Bless! God is Faithful!
