Heartache and Pain

Heartache and pain are 2 definite constants in life. From the richest to the poorest, from the most beautiful to the most unattractive (inside and out) you can pretty much guarantee these two things will come to pass in your life at some random point in time. But the question is how will you deal with it? How will you face it? Will you stand up and fight or will you fall down and crumble? Will you rise above it or will you be crushed beneath its weight? Will you lean and depend on God to get you through or will you go to some worldly crutch just to take your mind off the pain for a little while instead of truly facing up to it? Tough questions but when faced with adversity you need to have your mind made up and know which way to go. And don't think for one second when you're going through troubling times that God doesn't see, hear, feel or care about what it is that you are going through, what you are facing at this point in your life because that couldn't be farther from the truth. God has compassion for His children, passion for His creation; from sinner to saint, both non-believer and believer alike.

Take a look at these scriptures:
-Psalm 36:7 "How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings."
-Luke 7:11-15 "Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and His disciples and a large crowd went along with Him. As He approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out - the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. When the Lord saw her, His heart went out to her and He said, "Don't cry." Then He went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. He said, "Young man, I say to you, get up!" The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother."

These scriptures are just 2 among many scriptures in the Bible representing how much God loves and cares for His children. It doesn't matter who you are or what you've done, you can find love and refuge in God and He will completely erase your guilt, take away your pain and wipe your tears away; set you on your feet and get you going in the right direction.
When you hurt God hurts. He feels your pain just like you feel it. He doesn't want to see you with your head hung low, depending on something worldly crutch to get you through, no way! He wants you to come to Him so He can bring you back to life. To strengthen you, to get you moving on the right path so you can face your pain and deal with your heartache in a sensible fashion. God desires to fill each and every one of your longings, He desires to shower you with good things from above but you must recognize that He can't afford to let you feel only good; because then He may lose you on the count that you may begin to feel as though you don't need Him and that is a risk that God is not about to take.
So when when life's many troubles and sorrows seem to begin to pile up over your head recognize why it has arrived. Nothing catches God by surprise and everything happens for a reason. It's in those times where God is testing you, testing to see if you really love Him as much as you say you do but it's not just a test, He's also desiring for you to come nearer to Him, to develop a deeper relationship with Him and for you to know and experience Him in your life on a level you never have before.
God is a big big God and that's even an understatement but i'm saying that to say this, God is more than able to release your from your heartache and pain. All you have to do is go to Him. Don't run from the pain go towards it! Face it! Fight it! Overcome it! God has readily equipped you for the battle. His Spirit is in you and you are suited in His full armor (The armor of God: Helmet of Salvation, Breastplate of Righteousness, Belt of Truth, Feet Fitted with the Readiness that Comes from the Gospel of Peace, Sword of the Spirit (The Word of God) and the Shield of Faith (used to extinguish ALL the fiery darts of the enemy) This all found and described in the book of Ephesians 6:10-17). So don't run and hide, don't crumble and don't fear! You can make it! The Lord is on your side! God Bless!
